Sign Up for a Chance to Tour the Gardens at the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival

posted on October 18th, 2013 by Thomas Smith, Social Media Director, Disney Parks

Next week, we’re continuing our series of special tours in celebration of “Limited Time Magic” with a rare opportunity to tour the gardens at the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival with the manager of Walt Disney World Horticulture for the signature events at Epcot.

Sign Up for a Chance to Tour the Gardens at the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival

Each morning from October 21-25, 2013, a group of lucky guests will be invited to join Eric Darden, the manager of Walt Disney World Horticulture for the signature events at Epcot, for a special walking tour. Eric will talk about horticulture at the Walt Disney World Resort and the role it plays in helping tell the story of this year’s Epcot International Food & Wine Festival. He’ll also share a few hints about the upcoming Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival.

There will be only one tour each morning – with 25 guests in each group. You may enter here for a chance to attend one of the five tours being offered from October 21-25. Also, here are the rules for the drawing for the Tour of the Gardens of Epcot.

Also, please remember the following for each drawing.

  • Each entry is valid for one participant only; winners will not be permitted to bring a guest.
  • Park admission will be provided as part of the event.
  • Selected participants will be assigned a tour date and time. There will be no changes or substitutions allowed.
  • Tour opportunities are non-transferrable and have no cash value.
  • Confirmation will be for the accepted registered winner only.
  • Valid photo I.D. will be required at check-in.
  • Tours are subject to restrictions and change without notice.

Just wanted to say–I tried several times to get registered for this, and the page kept not accepting my login. I finally got logged in just now, 20 minutes too late to register! I don’t know if this was just a fluke or if you’re having server problems again, but it’s rather annoying. Hope this doesn’t happen next week, if the LTM is another drawing like this.

I am flabbergasted, I was actually picked to take part and we are actually going to be at Disney then. I am just really disappointed that winners can’t bring a guest, but husband may appreciate getting to sleep in.

I would love to win but, if I do, could I gift it to my wife. She is my ARMY wife and it would be awesome to give her a trip to EPCOT. I plan to give her a true wedding someday at the Disney World chapel. For now, this would be a nice thing for her to relax away from the stress of family, kids, Army schedules, ect.
Thank you.

Bummer… My wife and I are spending out 5th Anniversary at WDW starting on Halloween. This would have been a GREAT tour to take – one of the reasons we decided on WDW this year was for the Food Festival!

With a limited time magic so very subtle and truly limited as this it’s easy to just let it disappear into the mix. Sure it wasn’t as bombastic as Monsters University or Villains, but it definitely deserves more acknowledgement. I am honored that I was able to spend a wonderful brisk morning following Eric Darden around Epcot World Showcase and to hear his fantastic stories and explanations on what it takes to design for each of the countries and how the landscape tells the story of each country. Eric truly gave us an insightful tour infusing personal stories and wonderful insider information. It was an amazing and unique experience and I am so happy that I was able to attend. My only regret is that I didn’t think to ask him any actually questions, Of course I came up with a good one after the fact. Thank you so much Eric and thank you so much LTM team. This was truly magical.
