One of my favorite photos we shared from Walt Disney World Resort this week was part of a look back at the resort’s first parade, which was called “Character Parades” and stepped off at Magic Kingdom Park on opening day.   • I love it that parades – from the bigger ones we see on Main Street, USA, to the smaller ones like the “princess parade” that kids get to join in on at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall, have always been a huge part of what makes WDW so special.
