Cinderella-Inspired Disney Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique to Open at World Famous Harrods on November 25, 2013

I’m delighted to announce that a new Cinderella-inspired “Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique” will open its doors at Harrods, the world famous department store in Knightsbridge, London, on November 25. This is the first time that a Disney Parks and Resorts offering has been recreated in the United Kingdom. The new boutique will be the centerpiece of Disney at Harrods, a new partnership venture including a Disney Store and new-look Disney Café.

Fans of Disney Parks may recall that the first Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique opened its doors at the World of Disney Store in Downtown Disney Marketplace at Walt Disney World Resort in 2006. Today, there are Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutiques found at several Disney destinations around the world.

With the help of Walt Disney Imagineering, the Disney Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique at Harrods has been reimagined for the UK. The boutique is set in a fairy tale castle enclosed within the glittering walls of Harrods. Children ages 3-12 are met by their very own Fairy Godmother-in-Training to learn the qualities needed to become Princesses or Knights, and take a royal oath while enjoying the ultimate fantasy makeover.

Face Painting for Guests at Cinderella-inspired Disney Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique

Guests can select from various experiences that include hair styling, face-painting, nail-painting, commemorative photographs and certificates. Other experiences will include Disney Princess costumes and accessories.

For the Royal Experience, guests can choose from three gowns, inspired by Belle, Cinderella and Aurora. Each gown was made with luxurious fabrics and will have a matching bag and shoes. They will also receive a personalized storytelling album complete with photographs from the boutique, and a crystal slipper for a true Cinderella moment.
