Mickey Mouse Creates a Magical Reunion For a Military Family at Magic Kingdom Park

posted on November 26th, 2013 by Jennifer Fickley-Baker, Editorial Content Manager

Mickey Mouse makes magical moments for guests every day, but for the young Liddell brothers – Jacob (12), Joshua (9), and Jackson (5) – their recent trip to Magic Kingdom Park will be one they’ll never forget, as Mickey helped reunite them with their father, Lt. Colonel Jason Liddell.

For the past 14 months, Jason had been away from his family for training and deployment in Afghanistan. When he found out he was to return to the United States for a few weeks of mid-tour leave, he and his wife Deborah devised a plan to surprise their boys with some much-needed family time.

Watch their surprise reunion below.
