Have you ever seen the “Candlelight Processional” at Epcot during the holidays?

The show, which combines a retelling of the Christmas story by a celebrity narrator with live music, is performed three times daily throughout the holiday season at the park.

Did you know that one entire section of the show’s choir – those singers featured in green robes – are actually Disney cast members who volunteer to sing in the show? Hear what they love about being a part of this annual holiday offering in the video below.

  • Saw this in 2012 and is the biggest reason I want to go back during the holidays again. It was so moving and so beautiful that I cried. I would love to experience this on Christmas Eve. If you are ever there during the holidays don’t miss it. Since it was our first time seeing it we got the dinner package so we didn’t have to do standby. Worth every penny we spent.

  • I have only been fortunate enough to be at WDW once in December (2009) and the Candlelight Processional was my favorite event. It was amazing and inspirational and we all LOVED it. I would also love to be able to join that choir… maybe some day!

  • I was fortunate enough to see Trace Adkins for my first Candlelight Processional. It was amazing.. Triumphant and moving at the same time! A GREAT experience!!

  • I’d love to see a post on the ASL interpreter. She seems so joyful! We saw the Processional last year and she was my favorite part.

  • I just love the Epcot Candlelight Processional. I was fortunate this year and I was able to see Gary Sinise, Neil Patrick Harris, Ashley Judd, Whoopi Goldberg, Sigourney Weaver, Dennis Haysbert, James Denton, Edward James Olmos, and Trace Adkins. I just bought the package for three of them, but I did use the standby line for the rest of them.
