Comments

  • Will this be similar to the meet up in CA or just a showing of the film?

  • Hello Mr. Smith.,

I was curious if there was a showing of the movie in the park on December 20th? Like a midnight premiere or anything. Thank you, sir.

    Allison

  • I made the list … very excited to be attending this event!

When will we receive RSVP confirmation emails with more details?
I live in deep South Florida, and I need to finalize my travel and accommodations by tomorrow 12/10/13.

    Thanks
    😯

  • I was wondering the something Gwen. Do we need a ticket for this event? You haven’t said if we do or not.

  • You will love it. Had a chance this Wednesday to see a double feature..Mary Poppins than Saving Mr. Banks.. both amazing on the big screen

  • Can’t believe I missed out on this (Waaaaaaa). We’ll be at Disney World on 12/14 and Mary Poppins is my absolute favorite movie — the first movie I ever saw in the theater (at age 4). I behave like I’m 4 again with Mary Poppins at Epcot every time!

  • Also, do we need to purchase a ticket to get into the park for this event? Thanks!

  • Can’t believe I am on the guest list for this event! THANK YOU Disney!!! I am so looking forward to this event!

  • I’m so excited! Are we expected to dress “dapper” like the meet-up in California? Although, I’m not sure I have anything in my wardrobe that would qualify as dapper! LOL

  • My names there! Me and my wife are so excited to attend!

  • My husband and I are looking forward to attending this event! Thank you so much!

  • Well we are actually going to the DVC Members event on 15 Dec :o)

  • Are names aren’t on the list, but we did receive and email confirmation for our 3 spots

  • Will we need to pay for parking?

  • THANK YOU!!! I love Disney!!!!!!!!!!

  • We’ll folks, my name is on the list and I can safely say I’ve never been to one of these events. Thank you Mr. Smith! My wife and I are looking forward to an amazing date night! Yay Disney Magic!

  • Yay! I made the list! So excited! I can’t wait to see the movie! THANK YOU!

  • The other day there was a post about signing up to be chosen to see the movie on December 12. Is this one different? Because I signed up with the first one.

    • Hi Cody, these are different events. This meet-up is at Disney’s Hollywood Studios at the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida.

  • You certainly don’t give us much time.

  • When should we expect to see a list?

  • I have never in my life, wanted to see a movie more than I want to see this one!! …feeling supercalifragilisticexpialidocious! 😀

  • Congratulations to everyone who got accepted. I guess I was a little late in seeing this post :( Maybe another time. Have fun everyone!

  • :( I live in Florida, apply for these events and never have any luck. I will even be at Disney World that same weekend celebrating by daughter’s birthday. :(

  • So if we don’t live in Florida we’d have to buy plane tix and all that… hm. Too bad I’m all the way in AZ. You should do one in CA! 😀

    • Hi Leslie, Erin shared our CA opportunity earlier this week on the blog. Please keep checking for future meet-ups at the Disneyland Resort.

  • Just signed up, OMG I’m so excited! I’m already going to be at Disney for the previous three days to celebrate my birthday and college graduation, and this is the last night we’ll be there — it’ll be the PERFECT end to what I’m sure will be a perfect vacation!
Thank you, DPB for this opportunity!

    • You’re welcome, Amanda. Good luck.

  • Hi Thomas,

I had the extreme honor and pleasure of seeing a preview of Saving Mr. Banks here in Toronto last week and let me tell you not one person rose at the end of the movie to exit. Everyone sat riveted to their seats until the lights came on. It was packed and everyone was incredulous!

I felt as if I was with Walt Disney at every turn, it was amazing!

Seeing a preview of Saving Mr. Banks at Disney’s Hollywood Studios would just put me over the moon. I so wish I could fly down to see it again. That’s how much I loved the movie.

    Congratulations Walt Disney Studios!!

    Best regards Thomas,

    Jacqueline

    • That’s wonderful, Jacqueline. Great to hear everyone enjoyed it so much. Thanks for the kind words.
