Vintage Walt Disney World: Epcot Holiday Decorations

posted on December 12th, 2013 by Nate Rasmussen, Archivist, Marketing Resource Center

The holiday season is in full swing at Walt Disney World Resort. Garland is hung, lights are shining bright, choirs are singing and back in 1994 poinsettia trees were blooming at the entrance to Epcot as seen below.

Believe it or not, over 90,000 poinsettias are introduced through the resort during the holidays, creating a festive atmosphere for all who visit. What’s your favorite part of the holidays at Walt Disney World Resort? Tell us in the comments section below.

Donna…I feel the same as you. I miss them a lot!

Also….Please! Please!!! Bring back the Lights of Winter!
Christmas time just isn’t the same without them. The Lights of Winter was my favorite thing about Christmas at Disney World.
