In recent years, thousands of guests at Disney California Adventure park have enjoyed performances by Mariachi Divas, who appear regularly in the Pacific Wharf area of the park. Recently, Mariachi Divas were among the entertainment highlights of the Disney ¡Viva Navidad! and Three Kings Day holiday celebrations at Disney California Adventure park.

The all-female ensemble has also enjoyed great recording success, with a GRAMMY award for Best Regional Mexican Music Album, along with five GRAMMY nominations and a Latin GRAMMY nomination.

Now they are GRAMMY-nominated for their ninth album, “A Mi Manera.” They will celebrate, prior to the January 26 awards ceremony, with a free performance including a medley of songs from the album on Wednesday, January 22, at 12:30 p.m. on the stage near the ESPN Zone in the Downtown Disney District.

And Mariachi Divas have something else to celebrate: the ensemble, founded in 1999, has its 15th anniversary – a Quinceañera! – this year.

I was feeling tired one day when they took the stage at Paradise Garden Grill, and I thought “Man, I really just want some peace and quiet right now.” But, after they started singing, I changed my mind. They are very easy to listen to. I loved how that sang Happy Birthday to a young girl. They deserve lots of awards!!
