Don’t miss your chance to meet acclaimed author Ridley Pearson, as we celebrate the release of his newest book, “Kingdom Keepers VII: The Insider,” the much-anticipated, final addition to the Kingdom Keepers saga. Ridley will be making special appearances on the following dates:

Walt Disney World Resort*:

Disneyland Resort:

  • March 29 – Disneyana, Disneyland park (10 a.m. – Noon)

Here’s a look at the cover as well as what you can expect from this new book:

KKC966332

The Kingdom Keepers’ senior year in high school is almost over. For more than three years, things have been quiet. Their battles are long behind them, they agree, the threat to the Disney realm silenced albeit at great cost. But inside the catacombs of the Aztec temple where Finn Whitman faced down his nemesis, the monstrous Chernabog, a new threat brews.

Deception and betrayal rock the Kingdom Keepers as the merciless group of Disney villains known as the Overtakers stage an unexpected comeback. But a discovery by the Keepers provides them with one hope of victory-a lost icon. It was believed to be gone forever. The Keepers have one last chance to preserve the heart of the Kingdom-Disneyland-from a terrifying destruction decades in the making.

My son loved reading the first book. How fun it would be to meet the author too.

Oh I have always wanted to read this series! It looked like so much fun. Too bad that I won’t be able to meet the author. It’s such a clever idea :D

Looking forward to finally picking this series up!

What time do people start lining up to purchase the book and get a wristband?

Hi Mona! Guests generally will begin to queue up at store opening to purchase the books. Wristbands for the signing will be distributed at time of purchase. Hope that helps.

My son would LOVE to finally meet Ridley Pearson. He has all the books so far, and has read them multiple times. We somehow always seem to miss when he comes here on book tour, but we CAN’T miss it this time. (My son is super sad this will be the last book!)

I was wondering though. How many wristbands do you get when you purchase the book? (like, enough for me and my son to get in line?) and do all people need to be present to get the wristband?
For example, if I went to Once Upon a Toy when they open in the morning, would my son need to be present to get the wristband? Or can I just put it on him when he comes back later that afternoon for the signing/event?

Thank You!

Hi Jordana! It is one wristband per person, each wristband will allow you to get up to two books signed. The wristband will need to be placed either on you or your son, in order for you to attend the signing event. However, both of you will not be required to have a wristband to meet Ridley, unless you want additional books signed. For example: If you have the wristband on, you can bring your son. Or if he has the wristband on, you would be able to attend with him. Again, only two books signed per Guest, per wristband.

Hi Jordana,

Can you please clarify this? Do you know if the wristband is removeable? If not and if my husband runs to DD in the AM to buy two books, will he have to actually put the wristband on at that time? Our son and his friend are the two that actually want the books signed and meet the author. We’re just helping to facilitate so they can hit the parks early.
Thank You!

I’m a little confused…..on this post it mentions that he will be at Hollywood Studios on March 27th, however, on the Disney Parks merchandise website it only says he will be at Downtown Disney on March 30th. Did the dates change?
