My Dad is a big Jiminy Cricket fan and always hard to shop for. Thanks for making birthday shopping easier this year. I just ordered the cel/postcard/pin package. Can’t wait to see it!

Hi Craig! So happy I could help. I hope he enjoys it!

Hi Michelle,

I have an art background and really appreciate all aspects involved in the making of cells. I love all the cells, especially Sorcerer Mickey and Jiminy Cricket, because I always follow his saying, “let your conscience be your guide.”

I’ll be placing my order as advised and hope that they ship to Canada. Fingers crossed.

Thank you,
Kind regards,

Jackie

Sometimes when new “Art of Disney” product lines launch, new “Art of Disney” postcards related to them follow, do you know if there are any new Art of Disney postcards related to this line coming out?

Michelle Harker on February 10th, 2014 at 8:02 pm

Hi Brian! I know that there were ‘Off the Page – 25 years’ postcards developed to send out to Guests who had previously inquired about Ink & Paint Cels, but those are the only ones that I know of.

I really like the Jiminy Cricket piece, but it bothers me that Jiminy’s left hand isn’t attached to his arm. The heel of his palm lines up with the top of his wrist. Looks like a mistake :(

Michelle, is this a hand painted cel or seri-cel?

Michelle Harker on February 10th, 2014 at 8:03 pm

Hi Alan! It is considered a hand-painted Ink * Paint cel.

I have pre-ordered the Off the Page cel. Will I be automatically notified when new cels are being offered? I love these and don’t want to miss out on future pieces.

I just ordered both! And kudos to Disney for being able to order cels online now from both Disneyland and Walt Disney World! This is fantastic! And you heard the feedback from collectors who want to be able to buy the postcard and pin as well as the cel. I’m a very happy Guest! Thank you!
