One of my favorite activities that the whole ‘ohana can enjoy together at Aulani, a Disney Resort & Spa, is snorkeling at Rainbow Reef. In fact, it’s the only private snorkeling lagoon on O’ahu. At Rainbow Reef, you can get up-close to nearly 50 different types of sea life native to Hawai`i. And we recently added an enhanced experience, S.A.S. (Supplied-Air Snorkeling), which is perfect for novice snorkelers. My fellow Disney Parks Blog author, Erin Glover, gave it a try on her last visit to Aulani – go along with her and see it for yourself in the video below.
Have you and your ‘ohana had a chance to snorkel in Rainbow Reef? What kind of fish did you find? Now is the perfect time to visit Aulani with this great offer.

I love that they have plenty of the Humuhumunukunukuapua’a! I really hope to try it.
My 8 yr old son and I did Rainbow Reef a couple times during our stay in Aulani this last Christmas and it was great. I think the Rainbow Reef fee is the only fee. Definitely worth the experience, and it was beautiful!
The water is cold though, so be prepared for that.
Headed there in two weeks for our first Aulani trip and this looks like a great way to introduce the concept of SCUBA to our daughter. Is there an added charge above the normal Rainbow Reef Snorkeling fee? Thanks!
