Xin Yin Children’s Choir Celebrates Disney’s ‘it’s a small world’

posted on March 27th, 2014 by Jennifer Fickley-Baker, Social Media Manager

Our celebration of the 50th anniversary of “it’s a small world” continues today with a video performance from the children’s choir, Xin Yin, which is based in Shanghai.

The performance, which took place in the Shanghai Cultural Center, included the group singing the song “it’s a small world (after all)” in English and Mandarin Chinese.

You can join the attraction’s celebration by singing along and creating your own “it’s a small world” doll. Learn more at SmallWorld50.com.

I thoroughly enjoyed The Mormon Tabernacle Choir singing “it’s a small world” and this delightful choir brings me back to my choral and instrumental music teaching days.

I will be sure to share this within my Social Media circles because it will make many people happy.

Thank you,
Jackie

Considering the contexts in which they appeared, have to say it makes a lot more sense to see children’s choruses singing “It’s a Small World” than “Let It Go”. :)
One video may have gotten the idea from the other, but it’s still a cute song.

Ironically China wasn’t added until the 1970′s ! Because in 1964 the United States didn’t recognize the People’s Republic of China but rather the Republic of China !
