so are they going to put the Star Wars Villain owns Star Wars but are they going to have the Star Wars villains in the same places that they have them at Star Wars Weekend or will they have them over by Star Tours?

Marc from NY on June 18th, 2014 at 3:38 pm

I’m confused. How can there be a pre-parade when Disney’s Hollywood Studios no longer has a parade?

Jason on June 18th, 2014 at 3:43 pm

Wait a minute. Meg’s not a villain.

Dianne from FL on June 18th, 2014 at 4:49 pm

Gaston & the Queen of Hearts as listed twice.

Gayle from CA on June 18th, 2014 at 6:00 pm

Thanks so much for the preview! This would totally be worth flying cross country for! Plus Villains aren’t evil. merely misunderstood!

Benjamin on June 18th, 2014 at 6:47 pm

Sorry… the villains are evil, they shouldn’t be dancing to pop music.

Matt from FL on June 18th, 2014 at 7:49 pm

No Maleficent?!? Inconceivable!

Theresa on June 18th, 2014 at 8:31 pm

I’m with Jason, Meg’s not a villain. :(

Joseph on June 18th, 2014 at 8:41 pm

Is Gideon from the Disney Channel show “Gravity Falls”? If so, does that mean Dipper, Mabel, and Gideon will be coming to Disney Parks?

Anthony on June 19th, 2014 at 12:27 am

No, the Gideon they are referring to is the one from Pinocchio. He is the cat that hangs out with Honest John.

Eric from MA on June 19th, 2014 at 12:37 am

Meg can’t help it, she -hangs around- with villains. We know her reputation’s good, but as long as it gets her back in the park. :)
(Speaking of which, ahem, nice to see the Wicked Queen hasn’t been forgotten once in a while.)

@Joseph – I’m…….PRETTY sure Gideon = the Fox’s sidekick from Pinocchio, rather than the cable cartoon character. Just a hunch.

Eric from MA on June 19th, 2014 at 12:40 am

The above list of walkaround characters only counts 25, not counting five others that only show up on rare events…Fans have been wondering, how will the remaining 20 be “featured”?

Alison on June 19th, 2014 at 1:02 am

Joseph, Gideon is Foulfellow’s feline sidekick in Pinocchio. The one who walks upright with the help of a cane not the sweet little black n white feline of Gepetto’s. I really wish I could go to this!!! Back in 1997 I was fortunate enough to be a volunteer for Hercules premier parade in NYC, but never able to get my photo with any of the characters. I wanna go just to see them!!!

Rebecca from NY on June 19th, 2014 at 1:15 am

Meg wasn’t exactly a villain but she started out as being under Hades thumb and working for him in exchange for Hades saving the life of her then boyfriend. So she isn’t the typical villain.

Erin on June 19th, 2014 at 1:28 am

Joseph, Gideon is from Pinocchio, as is Foulfellow.

Allison on June 19th, 2014 at 7:32 am

To answer Joseph’s question above, Gideon and J. Worthington Foulfellow are the cat and fox (respectively) from Pinocchio.

I hope Oogie Boogie and Shan Yu will be available for meet and greets as well!

Evelyn from MA on June 19th, 2014 at 8:24 am

i can just never see Mr Smee as a “villain”

Robert on June 19th, 2014 at 9:21 am

If Disney ever does this again it should give more notice to the public. I would have made my next trip (from Canada) coincide with this event. With only a few months notice only locals and people who happen to be lucky enough to already have a trip planned can attend :(

Tim on June 19th, 2014 at 10:30 am

I miss seeing the Queen of Hearts at the Magic Kingdom! She was wickedly hilarious!

Michelle from NY on June 19th, 2014 at 10:36 am

I’m excited about Bowler Hat Guy!

Jennifer on June 19th, 2014 at 12:07 pm

Oogie Boogie Please :)

Christine on June 19th, 2014 at 7:39 pm

We need Maleficent!!

Joseph on June 20th, 2014 at 1:13 am

Oh! Got it! Thanks everyone! 😀

Erin on June 20th, 2014 at 5:09 pm

I’ve heard rumors that this might eventually become a regular hard ticket event. I was lucky enough to be at WDW during Sept 13 for the first Unleash the Villains event. That they are now doing it as a hard ticket event shows their investment in the idea and hopefully they will make this a permanent addition (like Very Merry Christmas and Not So Scary Halloween). Then again, I’m also rooting for Harambe Nights to become an event like the Christmas event at EPCOT.

Rebecca on June 21st, 2014 at 10:23 am

No Shadow Man?

Roberta on June 22nd, 2014 at 12:05 pm

We are contemplating going, but have reservations at BOG at 6:20. I figure we would not get to the event until 9:00. I am wondering what time it ends??

Colorina on June 22nd, 2014 at 5:01 pm

I know it’s a long shot, but I’m hoping either Mother Gothel or Hans makes an appearance. They’d be such a great addition to the event!

Corina on June 30th, 2014 at 2:14 am

So will there be meet and greets? or just villains roaming the park??

Christine from ON on August 8th, 2014 at 8:29 am

If they had Lotso there and available for evil strawberry scented hugs I’d hop a plane just for this. So sad they look away his meet and greet :(
