  • I am 86 years old. We went to Disneyworld once in our lifetime. I would like to go one more time while I can still travel. I served an enlistment of six years in the navy. One year active duty and five years ready reserve. Will I qualify for the discounts?

    Thank You

    Al

  • We will be traveling to Walt Disney World on Saturday Jan 24, 2015 and will be staying the first four nights at Shades of Green and then transferring to Animal Kingdom Lodge. Can anyone tell me how to link my Shades of Green reservation to my disney experience

  • I am wanting to take a trip in November of 2015. When will discounts beyond October 3 2015 be available?

  • Thank you Disney for your continued support. It is wonderful to have this as an option, considering many years we cannot plan ahead more than 2-3 months due to my husbands military schedule. All of your military discounts are very much appreciated!

  • Yippee!!! Thank you so much Disney. Dreams do come true!

  • I see in your article that it says tickets can be purchased starting today. I called to purchase tickets and was told they are not available yet. Is there a delay or a problem at my military base travel agent. I want to purchase tickets ASAP! So excited 🙂

  • I understand that Disney World is crowded during the Christmas Holiday, but a shame tickets cannot be purchased and used during this time when my son will be home from a 10 month deployment in the U.S. Army as we are planning on celebrating at Disney World 12/24 through 12/29/2014.

  • When will the $177 tickets for the 2014-15 military be available for purchase? Either on base or through Shades of Green? We travel mid November and want to make sure we can take advantage of FP+. Thanks

  • It says the tickets have to be activated at the gate. Can they be activated for a different day? My boyfriend is in the military and he will be coming with me in November, but not February.

  • shoot. Wish we knew this last month when my family booked for October. My dad served in the NG during the Vietnam era.

  • For those stationed overseas are there any deals for Disneyland Paris or Tokyo Disney?

  • Do the park tickets need to be purchased at a military sales outlet or can they be also purchased at a park at the gate?

  • Hi, do any discounts apply to active or retired Canadian military?
    Thanks!

  • I’d really like to see offers like this extended to anyone who served honorably in any of the U.S. Armed Forces. Those of us who served honorably (I did 8.5 years active and 3 years reserve) but didn’t retire frequently are overlooked.

  • Jennifer- You scan the actual vouchers into the app, where they are associated with a MagicBand (write names on them as you go along!) Then you activate those vouchers at the Guest Relations desk in front of the park. From there, the CM activates it, and it updates your Magic Bands.

  • Thank you, Disney, for your continued support of our United States military personnel.

  • Jennifer, you can link them ahead of time to Magic Bands and take advantage of the 60 day FP+. I did it for our upcoming trip. They still need to be taken to Guest Services with your ID for validation.

Thanks Disney for once again renewing this wonderful benefit for our military!

  • Thank you so much for renewing this Military Promotion. It means so much to this enlisted family! I know for me personally, it means even more when each Disney Cast Member gives an extra thank you, and smile when they see my Husbands Active Duty ID. Can’t wait to plan for a 2015 Disney Vacation now!!

  • Since these won’t be activated until we get to the park, will we still be able to sync them with our magic bands before the trip? I still want to be able to book fast passes 60 days out.

    • When the ticket is purchased, ticket information is provided which enables you to link the tickets to your account to book FastPass+ reservations. Thanks, Jennifer.

  • I’m so excited to see that the Military Promotional Discounts have been renewed! A big thank you to Disney for continuing to offer this wonderful opportunity to the members of our Armed Forces! We can’t wait to visit the Walt Disney World Resort on our next vacation!

  • Does a disabled vet with military ID count for this promotion? I know it says “active and retired” but I wasn’t sure if disabled was grouped in with retired for this.

    • Hi Kathryn, fully Disabled Veterans are included in the offer. Thanks.

  • Hi,
My question about the U.S. Military Special Ticket for Disneyland: Will these tickets come with one Magic Morning early admission like the regular 3 day park hopper tickets online do?

    Thank you!

    • For the Disneyland Military promotional ticket, Magic Morning early morning admission is not included.

  • What exactly is included as the “and More Option”? Do the Disney World passes still include free admission to Disney Quest, like they have in the past?
    Thank you.

    • Hi Ross, each WDW Military Promotional ticket includes four Fun visits. And you can choose one of the following for each Fun visit:

      • One (1) visit to Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park
      • One (1) visit to Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park
      • One (1) round of golf at Disney’s Oak Trail Golf Course – greens fee only (tee time reservations are required and subject to availability)
      • One (1) visit to DisneyQuest® Indoor Interactive Theme Park
      • One (1) round of miniature golf at either Disney’s Fantasia Gardens Miniature Golf Course or Disney’s Winter Summerland Miniature Golf Course. Round must start before 4:00 p.m. Only 1 Fun visit may be used at either such Golf Course on any one day. Accordingly, if a Fun visit is used at either such Golf Course on any day, another Fun visit may not be used at that same Golf Course or at the other Golf Course on that same day.
      • One (1) visit to ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex (valid only on event days; some events require an additional admission charge).
