It may be July, but the time has come to get ready once again for Mickey’s Halloween Party at Disneyland park! Tickets are on sale to the general public here, and there’s so much to look forward to. Here are my top five can’t-miss favorites at Mickey’s Halloween Party.

  1. Mickey’s Costume Party Cavalcade – this is an exclusive, for Mickey’s Halloween Party guests only.
  2. Disney Villains make special appearances at Mickey’s Halloween Party in a series of must-see moments in Town Square on Main Street, U.S.A.

  4. Trick-or-treat stations throughout Disneyland park, stocked with candy and healthy goodies.
  5. Halloween Screams, fireworks spectacular – another exclusive just for party guests.
  6. Monsters U Dance Party at Tomorrowland Terrace, featuring Mike & Sulley and the Monster Scare-Off.

  • Does anyone know what path Mickey’s Costume Cavalcade at Mickey’s Halloween Party takes? I want to catch both that and the Halloween Screams fireworks show and was wondering if there was a good spot to post up to watch both!

  • I LOVE seeing all the creative costumes! The kids love seeing all the ‘bad guys’ that they don’t typically get to see, but we love seeing the guests get into it too – we thought we were creative with our costumes but we are always blown away with what some folks come up with! Just the spirit of the whole event is wonderful – can’t wait!

  • We’re regulars at MNSSHP – so this will be our first Disneyland Halloween – tickets arrived in the mail last week! Must dos for us is getting as many characters photos as possible! I’ve heard some of the characters have different halloween costumes during the day than they have at night. I’m really excited about that! And I’ve heard the toon town party is legendary so I’m counting on it being offered again this year! So excited!

  • We usually do MNSSHP at WDW, but last year my mom and I went to the party at DL. While it isn’t as flashy at the one at MK at WDW, we LOVED the Cadaver Dans, meeting Jack and Sally, the endless candy, and the elaborately carved pumpkins! It’s fabulous.

  • I’m so excited and looking forward to my first Mickey’s Halloween Party this year!

  • Got my tickets last night!!!!

  • Mine is more of a `must meet`- Jack and Sally! I can`t wait to see them while I`m there 🙂

  • These aren’t really must-dos (beyond what Erin already mentioned), but they are must-sees! Some of my favorite elements of Mickey’s Halloween Party include:

    The Cadaver Dans;

    The special eerie lighting and fog over the Rivers of America and along the Big Thunder Trail;

    The elaborate, clever and often hilarious costumes worn by fellow MHP guests;

    The interesting locations of the different treat trails — punctuated by the giant Ghost Mickeys — or the smaller, hanging Mickey faces (lanterns) marking each individual treat station; and

    The creepy projections of pumpkins, spider webs, skulls, etc., on the Castle and other facades (even on the ground) around Disneyland.

  • Will they bring back the “pre-party” in Mickey’s Toontown?

  • Will there be a Toontown Pre-Party Party like last year? That was a lot of fun and a great way to start the party with lots of candy!

  • Last year was our very first Mickey’s Halloween Party. Our favorite part was the Cadaver Dans! When they floated down the Rivers of America I was in awe! It was like a scene from some amazing movie. Please make sure to schedule them in again for 2014!
