If you’ve been following our MyMagic+ updates, then you know My Disney Experience is the key to personalizing your visit. It’s one of several MyMagic+ benefits and tools now available to guests visiting Walt Disney World Resort.

Recently, the team working on My Disney Experience added some new features, including amazing flyovers of our resorts that we wanted to share with readers.

The 3-D modeling and a “camera view” from inside the animation gives you a great perspective – from birds eye to 360-degrees – at resort features (pools, recreation, monorail, amenities) and proximity to our parks.

Ken Oelerich, a design director on the project, was able to layer creative over Walt Disney World Resort maps and create a 3-D environment with the unique “camera” view. Ken says the team was not limited by where a helicopter could fly to bring the resorts to life for My Disney Experience.

Currently, the new flyovers are for Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, Disney’s Contemporary Resort and Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa with Disney’s Polynesian Resort coming soon. Go see the flyovers and other new features at My Disney Experience.

  • Hello! I added a friend to my Disney account but I’d like to undo it. Is it possible? If yes, how do i do it? thanks!

  • I still haven’t seen the My Disney Experience app added to the Microsoft store for windows phones yet… Any word on whether or nit that will happen?? We’re going to WDW in march and I’d like to be able to use it!

  • If you are having problems viewing them, go to My Disney Experience to view them. I was not able to get it to work here either. To find them go to the Places To Stay and then to each resort that offers them.

  • These are so neat! I hope they make similar flyovers for all of the resorts. I like seeing how they’re laid out and what their relative distance is to the parks.

  • Are there plans and/or something already in progress to get Windows Phone versions of the My Disney Experience as well as the DCL apps?

  • Couldn’t we do this already with Google earth 3D?
Before most of it got removed that is.

  • There is an AP slider you can get for you magic band.

  • I’m also having problems viewing. I installed quicktime on two different PCs and still can’t get it to work.

  • They don’t make it obvious, but if you click on the Wilderness Lodge link in the post, for example, then click on the picute at the top of the resort description it takes you into the flyover.

  • Are there eventually going to be magic bands for pass holders that have a special printing on them only annual pasholders can get?

  • I wish someone would make basically a video game were you could walk around were ever you wanted to at Disney World. I’d even pay for it.

  • Won’t work even though I updated Quicktime

  • Same question as Michael, Where do you find the flyovers in My Disney Experience?

  • where in the app are these flyovers I do not see them?

  • Where in My Disney Experience are these flyovers? I’ve logged in and don’t find them.

  • I am with Marc. A purple MagicBand would make my daughters trip.

  • Love these new ” flyovers”! More magic to enjoy between WDW visits. Keep them coming as planned pls.

  • Any word on additional colors for Magic Bands? I’m impatiently waiting for purple.
