New Cars Land Neon Merchandise at Disney California Adventure Park

posted on August 20th, 2014 by Michelle Harker, Manager, Merchandise Marketing & Communications, Disneyland Resort

They say when the cat’s away, the mice will play. That general rule applied here. While I was out of town visiting our Disney Theme Park Merchandise offices based on the east coast, my friends and fellow colleagues had some fun in the sun, showing off some of the new Neon Cars Land ‘At-Tire,’ which recently made its way down Route 66 and into Ramone’s House of Body Art and Radiator Springs Curios in Cars Land at Disney California Adventure park.

Capturing some of the most notable locales in Cars Land, these T-shirts and tanks can be paired with anything from jeans to skirts. Of course, the hats are a great addition to any look!

Special Tip: One of the coolest features on these items is the glow-in-the-dark and neon embellishment that has been added to certain areas on the print. Look at the zzz’s that appear on the Cozy Cone Motel or the logo on the Cars Land T-shirt.

Here are a few other things that got my wheels spinning. The Cozy Cone Motel light-up magnet and keychain, and of course, our trading pins. Take a look!
Will you go with the ‘Flo’ or ‘Cozy’ up with any of these designs?

We need more DJ merch – I would definitely rock a DJ’s Dance ‘n’ Drive bro tank!

My family and I try to wear matching shirts when we are at the park and I do believe that we have found our shirts for our next visit!
Also I like the hidden Mickey you have in there!

Thanks Katelin! I know you’ll enjoy them!

Any new antenna toppers? I’d love to have a Cozy Cone antenna topper.

Michelle Harker on August 22nd, 2014 at 2:20 pm

Hi Pamela! No news on any antenna toppers. But if I spot any new ones, I’ll be sure to let you know.

The one I picked up a couple of weeks ago was the long-sleeve neon Sarge’s Surplus Hut. I’ve been waiting since Cars Land opened for an adult-size Sarge’s t-shirt. This one is great!! The design is just like the neon pin above.

I’m so glad you liked it Leslie! The entire collection is so much fun!

No Luigi’s?

Michelle Harker on August 22nd, 2014 at 2:19 pm

Hi Ann! While there may not have been any Luigi inspired merchandise in this Neon line, I think you’ll like the next collection that I’ll be sharing with you shortly. So be sure to keep watching the Disney Parks Blog.

Looks awesome!

Have they ever produced a Radiator Springs bumper sticker?
They didn’t have any last year.

Michelle Harker on August 22nd, 2014 at 2:21 pm

Hi Kirk! I think there were a few when Cars Land first opened but I haven’t seen any since. I will certainly keep you in the loop if I hear of any.
