Starbucks to Open at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Early 2015

posted on August 29th, 2014 by Thomas Smith, Social Media Director, Disney Parks

Today, we’ve got an update to share about a new Starbucks location coming to Walt Disney World Resort. Guests visiting Disney’s Hollywood Studios will be able to enjoy a new Starbucks location inside the park beginning in February of 2015. The new store, The Trolley Car Café, will be themed to a classic trolley car station along Hollywood Boulevard and offer a unique experience for coffee lovers visiting the park.

There will also be Disney baked goods and Starbucks La Boulange™ pastry items at the store.

The store will be the third in-park location serving Starbucks products at Walt Disney World Resort. You’ll recall last year we opened locations at Magic Kingdom Park and Epcot, as well as at Downtown Disney.

Be sure to check the Disney Parks Blog for updates on this new location as well as a look inside the store when construction finishes in February.

Yay!!! I am so excited! Starbucks and Disney-my two favorite things in one place! I was SO excited to see the one open on Main Street USA!

Where will it be located? Please say it won’t be replacing Starring Rolls!

Hi Anne, Starbucks will replace the LA Prop merchandise location at the corner of Sunset and Hollywood Boulevards.

I’m with Anne. I really hope they don’t get rid of Starring Rolls. I love that place! I was not happy that they replaced the Fountainview at EPCOT. I just don’t understand why people come all the way to Disney World and then stand in line forever just to get Starbucks, which they can get practically anywhere.

Starbucks has great coffee; but when I’m on Disney property I want everything “Mickeyfied”. To bring in other stuff decreases the ‘magic’.

Will Disney and Starbucks ever create a You Are Here mug? I would love to be able to add the disney parks to my collection!

I totally agree with Skip! I too want everything “Mickeyfied”! But, at the same time, I am kind of excited for a Starbucks…Especially, if they do a special “You are here” mug!!

Skip– It is really no different than serving Coca-Cola or Dreyer’s ice cream in the parks.

Serving Coca-Cola or Dreyer’s is one thing; but Epcots’ Starbucks has its own dedicated store front.
