This weekend, Earth’s Mightiest Heroes are descending upon the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim for the inaugural running of the Avengers Super Heroes Half Marathon. Captain America and Thor have been seen regularly at Disneyland park in the past year, but this will mark the first Disney Parks appearances for Hawkeye and Black Widow!

Captain America, Thor, Black Widow and Hawkeye, along with a contingent of S.H.I.E.L.D. agents, will be out in force for this power-packed weekend of fun and excitement. If you’re running, look for them on the route during both the Avengers Super Heroes 5K and Half Marathon.

  • It would be nice to have them be regulars, they look amazing. My autistic 8 yr old loves Hawkeye and Black Widow. She would love to see/meet them when we got for her birthday next year. I hope SHIELD considers giving them a more permanent job at Disneyland.

  • How cool! Will people who are not running the marathons be able to see them? Because I’m actually going to be at the park for the first time in 6 years tomorrow! 😀

    • Alexis – How exciting! I’m sure you’ll have a great day. Hawkeye and Black Widow are appearing exclusively during the race, but you can get your Avengers fix by visiting Innoventions in Tomorrowland! 😉

  • They look great, I really hope that either Stark or Caulson (whomever they consider their boss at this point) gives them orders to be at disneyland more often

  • So cool! Any idea if they will become “regulars” outside of the race weekend? All this Avengers stuff certainly makes me want to make Disneyland our next visit instead of going back to the World. My two young sons are obsessed with Hawkeye!

    • Ryan – For now, there are no plans for Hawkeye or Black Widow to visit Disneyland Resort on a regular basis. If anything changes and their S.H.I.E.L.D. assignments bring them back this way, we’ll be sure to let you know here on Disney Parks Blog!
