‘it’s a small world’ Holiday Lighting Kicks Off Holidays at the Disneyland Resort

Last night, guests and media gathered for what has become a Disneyland Resort tradition: the official lighting of “it’s a small world” Holiday at Disneyland park. Special guest Maya Gallardo and her family joined Disney Ambassador Sachiko White to flip the switch on the more than 300,000 lights that will illuminated the iconic attraction through the holiday season. Maya was diagnosed with leukemia when she was less than one year old, and a stem cell donation from her older brother, who was five years old at the time, saved her life. She is now a 13-year-old cancer survivor. Take a look at this special night in the video below.
