As we gear up for the scheduled spring opening of phase 1 of the newest Disney Vacation Club Resort, Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows, we couldn’t help but share with you a couple “sneak peek” images of what some of the rooms will look like.

Currently under construction, the 360 Deluxe Studios will be the largest at Walt Disney World Resort. This flexible space will comfortably sleep up to five guests each thanks to a hidden pull-down bed tucked away in a very clever spot – beneath the television!

  • I just love seeing LILO on that hammock dreaming of a Hawaiian roller coaster ride!
Brilliant once again on the part of Disney designers and imagineers!
Can’t wait to stay in one!

  • While more space is great, I would give it up for a second bathroom and a True beds for all.

  • I’d rather they avoid sleeper sofa/chairs of any kind – thin mattresses with pressure points from the metal frame.

Jenn – they already do have Murphy beds, at the Cabins at Fort Wilderness – I believe it’s a full size bed, located in the living room.

  • From looking at this, think Disney will ever install Murphy beds? Space saver and a conversation piece. (actually want to install some in our house!) Also, can the person on the bunk bed still see the tv or only hear it? Be perfect for the one who gets insomnia. Watch the tv on low volume.

  • Do they sell that artwork of Lilo and Stitch on the hammock? I would totally buy that!

  • Looks great! I can’t wait to stay there one day!

  • Single chairs (two in a room to perhaps replace that couch) and ottomans that pull out to SINGLE beds are great considerations too!

  • FINALLY!!!! Sensible sleeping alternatives for individuals at WDW!! Those double pull out sofas have to go! Older siblings and less acquainted family members do NOT want to share a pull out sofa. Great to see single bed options finally being included! KEEP GOING DISNEY!!

  • Will this sleeper bed be similar in dimensions to the banquette beds offered at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside and now at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, or will it be a true “twin” bed and sleep an adult?

    • The sleeper is what we call “bunk size,” which is not quite the same size as a twin. The mattress is 30” wide and 73” long.
