In two previous Disney Parks Blog videos, you’ve seen Duke, one of the newest Circle D horses, doing ground work exercises and ground driving training backstage.

Now I’m happy to share with you the first of a three-part series showing Duke’s preparations to pull the street car on Main Street, U.S.A., at Disneyland park. In this segment, Equine Trainer Cindy Moser explains the foundation for Main Street training, and you’ll see Duke experience his new working environment for the first time.

  • What a handsome horse! So he started his journey in the fall I see with the Halloween bunting on the buildings.

  • What a great job. I love watching the horses on Main Street and the animals at Big Thunder Ranch. I can spend hours at the park just enjoying the sites, sounds, and scenery between rides, that’s what sets Disneyland apart from the rest.

  • I love these videos about the horses at Circle D Ranch. They’re so well trained, I love watching them go down Main Street whenever I visit the park.
