Are you planning a trip to the Disneyland Resort this May prior to the Disneyland Resort Diamond Celebration? If so, here are a few quick tips on merchandise events you don’t want to miss!

May 1-3: Precious Moments doll designer and artist Linda Rick will be on hand from noon to 10 p.m., each day, at Off the Page in Disney California Adventure park, as we celebrate the release of her Mother’s Day Spring collection, among other fan favorites! Learn more here.

May 2-3: Join us as we welcome Elizabeth and Mark from Hero Handmade Goods, May 2-3, 16–17 and 30-31, from 1-4 p.m., each day, at WonderGround Gallery in the Downtown Disney District. Learn more here.

May 9: Join us for a special artist showcase at WonderGround Gallery in the Downtown Disney District as we celebrate the release of new works of art by Brian Crosby, Martin Hsu, Sho Murase (not appearing), Jared Andrew Schorr and Gregg Visintainer from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Learn more here.

Artist in Residence: Appearing at WonderGround Gallery in the Downtown Disney District throughout the month is artist Gregg Visintainer. Look for artist showcases on the following dates: May 1, 2, 8, 9, 22, 23, 29 and 30 from 6-10 p.m. Learn more here.

  • Hi Michelle! The Holographic R2-D2 was finally released last week during the first Star Wars Weekend, and it looks really beautiful! Do you know if the exclusive R2-D60 figure will be released soon enough, like this weekend? Thanks!!! 🙂

  • I am sorry but those Greg Visintainer works in the pic above do not do his work justice. I was just browsing wonderground and saw some and they are AMAZING. I want to spend the whole day looking at them with all of their detail. I am in awe.

  • Hi Ricardo! I’m working on a Shopper’s Guide Blog to the Diamond Celebration that will hopefully help everyone plan when and where to shop. So keep an eye out, but its safe to say, it’s around the 21st of May. As for your inquiry on the Holographic R2-D2, I’m not really sure. But I believe the R4-D23 will be released in August as part of the D23 EXPO 2015.

  • Hi Michelle! Are there any news about the exact release date of the STAR WARS R2-D60 figure? I also saw two new exclusives at the Star Wars Celebration Anaheim: R4-D23 and Holographic R2-D2. Any info about them yet? Thank you! 🙂
