New Merchandise Debuts for Halloween Parties at Disney Parks

Who has plans to head to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party in Magic Kingdom Park at Walt Disney World Resort or Mickey’s Halloween Party this year at the Disneyland Resort? I’ve had the opportunity over the years to attend both and it’s definitely a treat!

If you’re curious as to the commemorative themed merchandise you’ll find on shelves this year, look no further. This year, expect to find, apparel items for adults and kids, including both long and short sleeved options, a ladies cut tee and fleece. Tip: Look closely, as certain elements on each of the apparel items have glow-in-the-dark features and there’s also another subtle difference, can you find it?

What else? Pins, of course! This year’s releases for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary-Halloween Party at Magic Kingdom Park include a limited release logo pin and mystery set, several limited editions, a tiered boxed set and framed set. Tip: Passholders keep an eye out for a pin featuring Chip n’ Dale created just for you. Mickey’s Halloween Party pins for the Disneyland Resort will include a limited edition booster set, a Halloween Screams pin, an Annual Passholder Goofy Halloween pin as well as a logo pin featuring Mummy Pluto terrified of Vampire Mickey. Which one will you “treat” yourself to?

East Coast fans! Keep an eye out for this year’s limited edition (4000) MagicBand, which comes complete in a decorative box and will retail for $29.95 (plus tax). So whether you choose to link your retail MagicBand now or later, there’s no doubt they make great souvenirs and gifts.

Where can you find all of these commemorative items and more?

Magic Kingdom Park locations
Emporium – Main Street, U.S.A. (apparel, MagicBands)
Frontier Trading Post – Frontierland (pins)
Mickey’s Star Trader – Tomorrowland (apparel)

Disneyland Resort locations
Emporium – Main Street, U.S.A.
Pieces of Eight– New Orleans Square
Pioneer Mercantile – Frontierland
Star Trader – Tomorrowland

Are you ready for the Halloween fun to begin?

  • Off topic but you need to highlight the special Disneyland Railroad 60th special issue items.

    Thanks!

  • Can we order online so we don’t miss out?

    • Hi Brenna! They are not available online, however you may want to double check if they are available through Merchandise Guest Services.

  • Hoping the Disneyland party shirts will be available next week. We’ll be there for the party on the 28th of Sept. We come from out-of-state and to keep our luggage as light as possible, we always plan on picking up some shirts. These will be a nice addition!

Tip for those coming from out-of-state. At least the Disneyland Hotel has a business center you can use to mail packages back home via UPS. Sure has come in handy in our past trips to mail back items instead of dealing with checked bags with the airlines.

    • I hope you were able to find them. Enjoy the party!

  • To any one who has attended the MNSSHP. What time do they start selling the party exclusive items? Do they start selling at 4pm when they allow people with tickets to enter the park or when the party officially begins?

    • Hi there! It’s typically for the event. But you never know, so keep your eyes peeled.

  • The 2015 MagicBand is already on Ebay for $100. This is a big disappointment as we aren’t attending until 10/27, and seem unlikely to get one @ retail in the park. Please tell me you have a way to keep these in the hands (or on the wrists) of true Disney enthusiasts.

  • I am hoping that the the Hocus Pocus Villians Spelltacular T-Shirt will be available on Tuesday.

  • Will the Disneyland Halloween party pins only be sold during the party? I would love to buy the AP and party one, but I’m afraid it will sell out before I go in a few weeks. Last year I bought a 4th of july pin on that day. When I went this year they didn’t know what I was talking about until one cast member said that they went on sale a few weeks prior and had been sold out. I don’t want that to happen to these. Any help would be appreciated.

    • Of course, it is pending availability but most Mickey’s Halloween Party tems should be available to purchase in stores now at the Disneyland Resort.

  • Will the Disneyland part tshirts be available in 5X??? Will they be available only during party hours?

    • Hi Lori! Shirts for Mickey’s Halloween Party are available now, however I don’t believe it goes to 5X.

  • Are there any items exclusive to annual passholders? Love the Magic Band but seems pricy so most likely won’t get it.

  • are these items gonna be available again for all the parties cause im going tuesday 22?!

  • You’re killing me smalls! These items are great! We will be going to the Oct 23rd event at DLR this year. Loved it so much last year, we decided to make it an annual thing. We are Premium pass-holders and I was curious if these items are only available during the event, or will they be out during the day? Thanks in advance!

    • Hi Liz! I love that movie! At the Disneyland Resort, the items are actually available on event days and non-event days. So you could actually purchase items now.

  • Michelle–Did the Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular show shirt really sell out after just the first MNSSHP? Because I am going to the Party next week and would hate to have missed out. Can you provide more details about this shirt? Was it really limited edition, or just limited release for all the Parties with some being held back for each Party date? Thanks.

    • Hi Lauren! I heard those shirts were quite popular! I know they had others online for awhile too. I’m not when or if they will be back in stock, but I will certainly keep you posted.

  • We are so excited! We are surprising our 2 sons with a trip to WDW for the MNSSHP and are wanting to reveal it with a shirt. Is there any way to purchase these ahead of time? We are going to the party on Thursday Oct. 15 which is also our 27th wedding anniversary!

    • Jon, perhaps you could try Merchandise Guest Services and see if the items would be available to purchase. Unfortunately they are not being offered online at this time.

I hope you enjoy your visit and Happy Anniversary (early).

  • Will the MagicBand have any fun effects when you use it to get into the park, like some of the other event-based special MagicBands do?

  • I have been reading online that guests have seen others purchasing 30 shirts at a time as well as other items. Are these new party items going to be limited purchase and are they being put out for every party equally?

    • Chad, because the items are considered open edition, Guests are able to purchase up to twenty-five of each item.

  • Who is the white figure on the Disneyland t-shirt? I can’t tell. The other one is obviously the Headless Horseman.

    • Jason, you definitely found the subtle difference. The Mickey’s Not-So-Scary items feature the Headless Horseman, while the Mickey’s Halloween Party items feature a subtle scarecrow king kind of figure.

  • The hottest item last Tuesday night seemed to be the Hocus Pocus Villians Spelltacular T-Shirt! It’s too bad there is not more Hocus Pocus themed merchandise, because the show is AMAZING!

  • The Magicbands sold out for the first party night, will there be some available on all party nights?

  • Will any of these be available online?
