Behind the Scenes: Making of the Jingle Cruise at Disneyland Park

The Disneyland Resort Entertainment team’s elves have been at it again, this time they’ve turned the Jungle Cruise in Disneyland park into the Jingle Cruise. I recently took a tour to capture the team’s latest yuletide tradition of decking the jungle with all things merry and bright.

The new snow men in the African Savanna scene brought back some fun childhood memories for me. What’s your favorite?

  • Saw both coast’s jingle cruise this year and Disneyland’s version seemed leaps and bounds better than WDW. Well done.

  • I love how Disneyland really creates extra Christmas magic on this ride as well as all the Christmas decor at the Haunted Mansion, It’s A Small World and Space Mountain.

I live in Florida now and the Magic Kingdom Main Street is decorated for Christmas and there is some decoration for Jingle Cruise..a little more this year than last, Yea! But, no other rides are decorated. I really miss Disneyland!

  • I didn’t remember it last year but sure loved it this year! Was well done and a cool change to a timeless treasure! Kids really enjoyed it too!
