My taste buds are already doing a happy dance: the 21st Epcot International Food & Wine Festival kicks off September 14 and runs through November 14 this fall. That means almost two additional weeks – from 53 days to 62 – of deliciousness, foodie fun, culinary events, celebrity chefs, seminars, music concerts and more.

Keep reading the Disney Parks Blog for more details – we look forward to sharing what we’ll be serving up in 2016 soon.

  • This will be our first time going to the Food and Wine Festival. My husband is so excited. We have been to Walt Disney World 11times and this will be our 12th time going. We will be there in Sept. Our first time was our honeymoon 13 years ago. We are counting the days done 115 days until Walt Disney trip. Oh yea.

  • I’m a huge Disney fan and I want to spend my 30th birthday at Disney.. but of course I want to be able to drink.. Can’t do that at MK , lol.. So this is perfect timing ! I’ve never been to Epcot , so this will be a first for me :) Looking forward to it.. Is it usually busy the first weekend ? We will be going Sept 17.

  • I’m so excited! This year for My Birthday I will be visiting EPCOT for the Food and Wine Festival! My first return trip since my previous Birthday Weekend Celebration at F’n’W in 2006! Dare I mention I was working as a Disney Cast Member during the very first Festival in 1996? oops Cat’s out of the bag now! I have no idea how this might work now that there’s the added convenience of Disney Dining program. Probably wont have to carry as much cash in hand/pockets (though i still might for those extra special treats along the way!)

  • First time going to Food and Wine Festival. Only doing MK and Epcot this trip. Would you suggest Epcot on Thursday since weekends are usually busier? Also, since it’s our first time going, any recommendations on getting the most of the one day we have? What “musts” are there and what are the “ok to skip” places? LOL

  • Hi Disney!11 Coming to visit in November and as usual I can’ wait! When will the international food and wine festival menu be available and what cupcakes are you serving up this year?

  • Going to Food and Wine Festival this year with a group of people. I know in the past there was a special gift card that came with a wrist band. Will they have the same thing this year? if so, will they be available online? I want to get one for everyone before we go. Thanks

  • I know the Food and Wine Festival is part of the admission to Epcot, but are there other tickets needed for tastings and such. Thanks.

  • When will concert dates be revealed?

  • Michaela,
The Food and Wine Festival is part of your Epcot ticket. It is a fabulous experience, but can get crowded on the weekends with locals. The Halloween party is a separate ticket, but you can get into the MK at 4 pm, even though the party starts at 7 pm. Last year, we did Disney Springs until 4 pm then went to the MK for the Halloween party. That way we save a day of park admissions :) Hope this helped!

  • I have never been to Disney during this time of year. Is the F&W festival included with your Epcot tickets, or is it extra? Also, does anyone know approximately how much tickets are for Mickey’s Halloween Party at Magic Kingdom. I know you have to purchase general admission for it and then an extra ticket for the party, I just didn’t know how much it usually is. Thanks in advanced!

  • Awesome! So excited! Hope I can make it! :)

  • Hope Hanson comes back and performs while I’m there!!! I’ve never been there while they were there, but that would be AMAZING!
    *Crosses Fingers*

  • One of my favorite times to visit Epcot!!

  • Waiting to hear if David Cook will be performing again this year. We want to book, but not until we know if and when he’ll be there. Last year we booked a Disney Cruise that got back to port in time for all 3 nights of David’s shows. He’s totally worth the trip!

  • When will more details be announced? My fiance and I are excited to start planning things and events for our honeymoon. We may not be able to afford to travel the world, but we plan to fill our passports this food and wine festival.

  • Very excited. This will be our second visit to the Food and Wine Festival. I will be more informed this time around, thanks to this blog!! Thank you

  • Sweet !! Making plans now !!

  • You don’t understand how happy you have Meade me :), what time of the year will you announce the stalls and the menus?

  • This is by far my favorite email I receive each year!

  • Boardwalk Sept 29 to Oct 8, here I come!

  • Oh my!! I cannot wait!! Doing the 5k this year..

  • Can’t wait!! Going to be there Oct 15-22!!

  • Will there be a Party for the Senses on October 1st? Can’t wait to start planning our Food and Wine Festival trip!!

  • I’m so happy they’ve extended the dates on both Food and Wine and Flower and Garden. It gives us much more flexibility in planning, and last year, it meant we even got to see Flower and Garden twice! Thank you!

  • So excited! Now just waiting on the Halloween Party dates so I can finish planning our honeymoon/first stay as a new DVC member! Thank you so much for the advance notice!

  • Any news on Eat to the Beat?

  • So excited! We will be there Oct 3-12!!!!!

  • Best news of the day. Beach Club in September can’t get here fast enough.

  • This is good to see the advanced notice. I can’t wait for my trip in November to enjoy the festival. However, the Flower and Garden has not had too many details released yet and it is only two weeks away. When will be see more information released for it? I was hoping for more information to plan before my trip in March. Let’s hope the Food and Wine will not suffer the same fate with early announcement and little information released leading up to the event.

  • YAY! So it will still run for the whole day on Monday, Nov 14?

    • Hi Sabrina, Yes! You will have all of November 14th – the last day of the Festival – to enjoy.
