This summer will bring a transformed land to Disney California Adventure park with Pixar Pier, featuring the Incredicoaster – a new experience featuring characters from “The Incredibles.” A super combination of character figures, lighting and special effects will bring the action to life as the Parr family races alongside you in an attempt to catch baby Jack-Jack! In the video below, the Imagineers creating this experience tell you more about the Incredicoaster story and how they approach storytelling on a high-speed attraction.
Experience the Incredicoaster this summer at Disney California Adventure park!

I thought the coaster was going to be open for Pixar Fest on April 13, but I read the post from yesterday that makes it seem like it won’t be ready until the end of June? We planned a trip in late April on the belief that the coaster would be up and running, but now I fear that our timing is off.
The character integration seems forced and the primary color scheme fights the look of the pier. With so many other area that need improvements, why mess with paradise pier?
Like. Like. Like. Incredibly more please!
This will be a welcomed improvement. Looking forward to some “Incredible” new music as well.
Is it going to be faster? Is the ride changing? I thought it was just going to be an Incredibles overlay?
When is screamin’coaster closing for the update ?
I love the coaster just the way it is…but I have to admit, I’m starting to get excited for the reskin. Well done, Imagineers. 😉
This looks awesome! Can’t wait to go on the “new” ride! Thank you
Don’t we already know this? I believe you guys announced this on November 2nd.
Sounds very cool. I like the idea of the coaster getting a storyline and the attraction getting a breath of fresh air in general.
