Since launching last spring, we have been hearing overwhelmingly positive feedback from guests who have used Mobile Order in the My Disney Experience mobile app. Currently offered at 23 locations throughout the theme parks and Disney Springs, this convenient service allows you to order meals and snacks on demand, pay in advance and skip the line at select quick-service food and beverage locations.
Now, we’re excited to introduce Mobile Order to a whole new audience of guests. With a My Disney Experience update launching later today, guests with Disney dining plans can redeem meals and snacks in Mobile Order, providing them with more free time to enjoy all of the attractions and entertainment experiences throughout Walt Disney World Resort.
All three Disney dining plans are available with Mobile Order: the Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan, the Disney Dining Plan and the Disney Deluxe Dining Plan. To access Mobile Order, tap the “Order Food” button under “My Plans” in the app. Watch the video below to see the convenience of using Mobile Order with a Disney dining plan – whether you’re redeeming a snack credit for a Dole Whip at Aloha Isle or a quick-service credit for a Pandoran feast at Satu’li Canteen.
This latest app update builds on other new features, like room charge viewing, Online Check-In Service and wayfinding, that are helping to improve the overall vacation experience for our guests. Question… If I have linked my parents Disney Reservation, tickets and dining plan with my Disney Experience App because they don’t have their own account can I do mobile ordering for them using their credits on my app or will it use up my credits?
Can guests with food allergies order on the mobile app?
Instead of paying with a credit card can you pay with a Disney gift card? Or any way to charge it to your room if your not on the dining plan?
I sincerely hope Starbucks (Fiddler Fifer Practical) implements mobile ordering in DL…I would love to be able to just pick up my coffee in the morning after the first ride of the day, or even the first meal.
It also looks like this update brings support for iPhone X! Great things all around!
Question …. This is a great option we used for snacks last year. Now that it’s on the meal plan, will there be an option to flag for allergies, like on the Be Our Guest pre order?
Can’t wait to use this on our trip. Any plans to roll something like this at DLR? I would love to just order through my phone and pick it up 🙂
What about annual passholder discounts?
