Recently, Steven Miller shared with you three new MagicBand designs that you can expect to see at this year’s Flower and Garden Festival at Epcot. And there’s even more wearable fun to look forward to in March!
Fans can now show off their appreciation for the famous and Instagram-worthy Purple Wall at Magic Kingdom Park with a new, limited release “Meet Me at the Purple Wall” MagicBand. This MagicBand, which our team has carefully designed to match the exact color shade from the Purple Wall, will be available as part of a two-week flash sale on ShopDisney.com beginning March 5.

Later in the month, we’ll be introducing a new grey Star Wars MagicBand showcasing the iconic symbols of the Rebel Alliance, the Galactic Empire and more. This limited release MagicBand debuts online March 12 and wherever MagicBands are sold at Walt Disney World Resort on March 16.
To help celebrate the 20th anniversary of Disney’s Animal Kingdom, we are offering a Limited Edition MagicBand that shows off some of the amazing creatures you can expect to see during your visit. This brown MagicBand will be exclusively sold at Disney’s Animal Kingdom as part of an edition size of 2,000 and will be available March 21.
With your MagicBand, you can connect to the choices you make in the My Disney Experience app and unlock the magic of a Walt Disney World Disney vacation – from effortless theme park entry to Disney PhotoPass association, FastPass+ redemption, room entry with Online Check-In Service and more.

Is there an actual color paint name for the purple wall? Would love to have my own purple wall at home.
I realise only the standard coloured magic bands are issued when staying at one of the resorts (I’m assuming they’re free? )
We’re abroad so does that mean we pick up our bands at check in?
And what if we wanted an animated/ patterned/themed version. Can we request this and pay the difference. Or do we just go out and find one to purchase once we are at the parks? What happened with the standard issue?
Hi Erika! When you select your MagicBands online they will be available for pick up at check-in at your Resort and are complimentary. As for the graphic MagicBands they are available for purchase once you arrive to the Parks and can be linked to your My Disney Experience account and be used for your visit. Upon arrival, if you have any questions the Cast at the Resort will be able to assist you! Have a great visit!

HI Gregory, no there was no Easter 2018 MagicBand this year. But be on the look out for a variety of new MagicBands in the next week.

Hi Richelle, generally we keep those surprise and delight effects that you see at the touch points to our Limited Edition MagicBands only.

Does the Icon (center fob) on the Purple Wall Magicband match the wall color too, or just the printing? If so, sounds perfect for a MagicKeeper!
Hi Hastin, yes the center icon of the Purple Wall MagicBand has been carefully crafted to match THE wall itself! I think this would look so great in a Mickey MagicKeeper!

Hi Ethan, yes this is a Limited Release MagicBand and is only available to purchase for two weeks.
So disappointing that only some bands are available online. EBay sellers make a killing off us poor saps that don’t live anywhere close to the parks.
HI Philip, a majority of our MagicBands are actually available online prior to their release in the park. We do have a few ‘exclusive to the park MagicBands’–but I hope that you are able to purchase the ones you like best!
