Walt Disney World salons specialize in making you feel your best during your vacation. Not only are the salons a place for relaxation, but they now offer “Character Couture Packages” where Disney stylists transform your hair, makeup and nails into designs inspired by our classic characters!
When I heard about this opportunity, I was eager to grab some friends and try it out. We each picked our favorite character and headed to the salon for a transformation to spend the day at Magic Kingdom inspired by Minnie Mouse, Cinderella and Ursula.

I’m booked on October 31 for a couture hair, makeup, and nails which is especially exciting as not only is it my birthday but we have tickets to MNSSHP too. Can anyone tell me what I should bring? I have a crown to top off my costume, but was wondering if I should wear any make up or bring my own. As well as my nails, should I have a base coat already on them? Any suggestions would be great!
This great. The wife is already looking forward to doing this for our Dec. 8th trip? Does anyone know if they do something like this for a Daddy/Daughter or Wife/Husband thing? The article on WDW Magazine states it starts at $50 and the complete package (hair, nails, and make-up) is $120. The Salons that offer it are Coronado, Beach and Yacht, and the Grand Floridian.
Have been trying to find out what the specific brand of hair products and makeup used are due to allergies. NO one can answer, can you provide information? I have an appointment but may need to cancel. Specifically allergic to all wheat/gluten related products.

From what I’ve read it starts at $50 and goes up from there (3 tiers of packages and make up doesn’t include foundation or contouring but available at an up charge). I believe this is available for ages 4 and up. 🙂 great idea for a mommy daughter makeover day!!

This is probably a stupid question, but can you visit the spas that offer this, if you are not staying in the resort that has the spa? I would love to do this, but from the info that I have found, they don’t offer this at the resort I am staying in.
Hi is there a minimum age limit for this? My daughter is too old for Bibbidi Boppity but I fear she may be too young for this?

Hi, Brittany! There really is no set list of what our cosmetologists can do. They have done everything from Star Wars Galactic looks to super hero looks, to pretty much all the princesses and villains. Because the service is customized to the guest, the stylist will consult with the guest about their wants and needs and provide expectations as to what can be done depending on hair length and type. The make-up is also customized to best fit the guest’s skin tone and facial features. It truly is a “couture” experience.
Any chance that this will be extended to DLR? I personally would take advantage of this opportunity 🙂
