  • During previous wine & food festival we have attended several wine dinners at resturants (morimoto’s, tiffins, jiko, fulton’s,etc.). When we check the Epcot food wine website the link to signature dining events is inactive. The only information we have found are the 9 pairings at epcot (Spice road table, tutto gusto, mexico tequila, etc.). Has disney discontinued the resturant based events or will more information be released in the near future?

  • Just curious as to why this information was not posted on the Walt Disney World website?

  • Certainly fewer events, but the event length has nothing to do with it (in fact, I think it’s the same as last year, starting with just two days in August :-). We enjoyed the breakfast in France two years in a row, and thought this year we would skip it and/or try something different. Because it’s not on the menu this year, that made it easier. 🙂

  • The festival is spread out over a longer period of time this year…don’t forget, it used to start much later, but now it begins in August. It makes sense for fewer events for longer, than more events for a shorter time period. It’s much more sustainable that way, in my opinion.

    I’ll be there in October!

  • I’m so excited!! We’re passholders and went to Food & Wine for the first time last year and loved it — so much so that when we evacuated our house for hurricane Irma, we evacuated to Orlando so we could go back! Have to do something while waiting for the weather. Thanks for the updates!

  • Not much to pick from. Even less options than last year. We attend annually but we may have to rethink it since there doesn’t seem to be anything new & exciting to book.

  • Every year the Food & Wine festival events get slimmed down. Will there be new events on the horizon?

  • Thanks, Jennifer. The Food & Wine festival is our favorite time of year and we’re very much looking forward to our next trip! We love to plan and were just wondering if there are any more events to be announced or do these signature events in addition to the previously announced events (demos, seminars, pairings, Sunday Brunch, Party for the Senses etc.) represent the offerings for this year’s festival? A lot sounds great – we just want to make sure we don’t miss anything!!
