In honor of the 40th anniversary of the Walt Disney World Resort, the Disney Gift Card team is proud to present three new designs to commemorate this special event. We invite you to join in the celebration by checking out our new 40th Anniversary Collage series cards and the 40th Anniversary Mickey Ear Hat card.
The 40th Anniversary Collage series gift cards feature two card designs that create a full picture when placed side by side. These collectible cards showcase Disney landmarks and treasured memorabilia from around the Resort throughout the years.
The 40th Anniversary Mickey Ear Hat card is also unique — the cut out card features one of the most treasured Disney Parks merchandise: a set of Mickey Ears! The traditional black ears get the special treatment with the opening date of the Walt Disney World Resort, 1971, and a 40th anniversary logo stamped on each ear.
As always, the Disney Gift Card is good for almost everything Disney including Theme Park tickets, dining and resort stays, merchandise, and more! These cards are only available for a limited time, and are offered exclusively at the Walt Disney World Resort. Get yours today to celebrate 40 years of magic!
Inspired by the high-tech, 3D-adventure film, we have added a cool new feature to “TRON: Legacy” Disney Gift Cards. All TRON cards sold at Disney Parks will include a “QR” code on the back. A “QR” or “quick response” code is a two-dimensional bar code that can be read by taking a picture of it on your mobile device.
You need to have the software, but QR Readers are usually free and available for download right to your handset. It’s worth downloading because more and more companies are using QR code technology to deliver interesting content to you via your mobile phone.
Once read, this code will cleverly take you directly to the official “TRON: Legacy” website where you can learn all about the movie which hits U.S. theaters December 17, 2010, in Disney Digital 3D™ and IMAX® 3D. The “TRON: Legacy” Disney Gift Card will be available for purchase at Disney Parks starting today!
Hi everyone. The Disney Gift Card team is always working on innovative solutions to make your Disney Gift Card experience even better. And today, we’re excited to share our newest app now available in the Apple App Store.
With the Disney Gift Card app, you can view your current balance and learn more about Disney Gift Cards. We’ve made it super simple to keep track of the entire family by creating custom labels for each gift card in your party.
Quick tip – In addition to labeling each card, you can also snap a photo and use that picture to quickly identify the current balance of a family member’s Disney Gift Card.
We hope you enjoy version 1.0. Visit Apple.com for app specifics and to download this free tool.
Our 2010 Halloween-themed Disney Gift Card is as sweet as candy. We’ve got some tricks to look for on this card that is only available at Walt Disney World. First of all, it glows in the dark so you can see an outline of Mickey, Donald and Goofy with the lights out. That should keep things not-so-scary for you.
Also, if you look closely at the textured spider web background you may see the “Hidden Mickey.”
We really enjoy bringing you these fun designs throughout the year, and we hope you enjoy them too!
