My favorite feature of all … they actually light up!”

Ladies, a new dress, fashion tees and even a Sally-themed costume tee (available in select locations) are just a few ways for you to rock any look! Don’t worry, we have your little guys and ‘ghouls’ covered, too, with new fleece and tees and even a Jack Skellington suit-inspired coverall for your little pumpkin.

Dia de los Muertos Treats Debut at the Disneyland Resort

posted on September 18th, 2015 by Michelle Harker, Manager, Merchandise Marketing & Communications, Disneyland Resort

Fall is in the air at the Disneyland Resort, and festive Halloween treats have materialized in Candy Kitchens to kick off the season!

Debuting this year are the Dia de los Muertos apples, cake pops and crispies which have been decorated in minute detail by our Candy Makers to resemble colorful sugar skulls. These delicious treats have been covered in caramel and white chocolate with sanding sugar elements, chocolate candy pieces and, in some cases, even marshmallow flower accents.

Special Tip: Celebrate Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) with a traditional skeleton display near Rancho del Zocalo Restaurante in Frontierland during Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort.

Looking for your seasonal favorites? If it has become a tradition to pick up gourmet apples inspired by Halloween Minnie Mouse, Pumpkin Mickey Mouse or Maleficent, you’re in luck! Of course, your “mummy” might prefer a cake pop that has been laced in white chocolate, creating a wrapped effect, complete with delicious marshmallow ears and candy-coated chocolate eyes peering from underneath the bandages. How about a pumpkin crispy treat? If that doesn’t get you in the spirit of the season, I don’t know what will. Who can resist a crispy treat covered in white chocolate, orange sanding sugar and drizzled milk chocolate? I know I can’t.

Look for these items and more, available now at Candy Palace on Main Street, U.S.A., at Disneyland park; Trolley Treats in Disney California Adventure park; and Marceline’s Confectionery in the Downtown Disney District. Curious what’s headed your way October 1? The Dirt and Worm gourmet apple is back by popular demand and adding to the mix will be a Dirt and Worm marshmallow treat and bark. Can you guess what it’s made of?

D-Tech on Demand Debuts at D Street at the Disneyland Resort

posted on September 16th, 2015 by Michelle Harker, Manager, Merchandise Marketing & Communications, Disneyland Resort

How many of you Disney fans out there have already had the opportunity to create your own personalized electronic accessory case from D-Tech on Demand at Marketplace Co-Op in Downtown Disney Marketplace at Walt Disney World Resort? If you have been wishing upon a star for this same innovative technology to debut at the Disneyland Resort, wait no more!

D-Tech on Demand will debut September 18, 2015, at D Street in the Downtown Disney District! The location will introduce more than ten new designs including art inspired by the Disneyland Resort Diamond Celebration and selections from WonderGround Gallery artists such as Jasmine Becket-Griffith and Jerrod Maruyama, among others.

DTODDLR80583

Kevin-Michael Lezotte, Merchandiser II, had all the scoop on these new pieces as well as the process and had this to share: “We continue to make updates both in art selection and the process. We’ve watched our fans interact and listened to what they have to say. Now you’ll find an even easier, faster and more user-intuitive process. We’re really excited to finally be able to roll this out to our west coast fans who have been waiting so patiently for its arrival,” said Kevin-Michael. “It’s such a great opportunity for our fans to find rare Disney characters and even usual art. What’s next? You’ll have to wait and see. But several of the art styles that will debut in the near future, are quite episodic and are out of this world.”

D Street at Downtown Disney District at the Disneyland Resort will offer cases for the following phones – iPhone 4/4S, iPhone 5/5S, iPhone 5C, iPhone 6/6+ as well as Samsung Galaxy SIII, Samsung Galaxy 4, Samsung Galaxy 5 and Samsung Galaxy 6.

The whole process – from start to finish – takes about 10–15 minutes, so next time you’re in the neighborhood, swing by, check out the ever-changing selection and perhaps make a case or two. Tip: Some art even will allow room for you to personalize it with your name. I know what I have my eye on.

What are you hoping to find?
