Above, Figment is in the Literature section of the former attraction where, along with Dreamfinder, they demonstrate how the words on the pages of a book come to life with the help of your imagination!

I’m sure many of you have your favorite Muppets characters. Which one do I relate to the most? I don’t know – I love them all! However I may have a little “Animal” in me. So naturally, when I found out we were going to have new Muppets-themed products at Disneyland and Walt Disney World Resorts I knew it was time to play the music and light the lights, because “Muppets Most Wanted” is opening soon.
There are T-shirts for kids and adults, both long sleeve and short sleeve as well a fleece, all featuring iconic characters, logos and humorous phrases. My top picks? Take a look!
For those of you who are a bit more subtle in showing your Muppets side, consider one of our new mugs which will debut this April! These mugs feature a cast of characters, Dr. Bunsen Honeydew and Beeker (meep, meep) and of course, Kermit the Frog. I mean let’s be honest, is there a better way to start your day off than with a cup of coffee in a favorite mug? Other than maybe a breakfast prepared by Swedish Chef, of course.
Want to nail a look so perfect even Miss Piggy would approve? Try one of the new nail polishes from “Muppets Most Wanted” 2014 Collection from OPI. Be sure to keep an eye out for it!
If the Muppets theme song is now in your head … or you can’t wait to check out some of these great new offerings, well, than my job is done! I hope you love it all as much as I do.
Do do do do do, Mahna Mahna!

This winter has looked a lot like scenes from the film “Frozen” in many parts of the country. Thankfully, spring is just around the corner and you’ll soon be ready to shed some layers and soak in some sun.
Dresses are a great way to usher in the season, so we’ve chosen a universally flattering silhouette for this week’s look, from Tren-D in Downtown Disney at Walt Disney World Resort. Consider belting it if you’re petite or just let it skim your figure if you have curves. We love the cheery coral shade and the “no print” print. Look closely and you’ll see a hidden Mickey. The Dooney & Bourke “Buttons” tote packs more punches of color and is perfect for work or weekend. A fun watch and ballet flats are the finishing touches.

Last week I shared with you some of the adventures your family can have with us this summer in Sicily, Italy, and now I want to tell you about what we have planned in Greece. We are visiting several new destinations in the Greek Isles and on the mainland, so check back all this month to learn about what is offered in the different ports. Today, let’s start with Corfu, Greece, an island in the Ionian Sea.

This year marks the 50th anniversary of a previously undiscovered region at Disneyland park (now navigable on the Jungle Cruise) known as the African Veldt. So intrigued by this discovery, Walt Disney himself decided to pay a visit to the region to checkout the wildlife.

Disney has often shown its appreciation for U.S. military veterans and their service. Now for the second year in a row, we’re hosting a Military Appreciation Day during an Atlanta Braves spring training game at Walt Disney World this week.

One of my favorite activities that the whole ‘ohana can enjoy together at Aulani, a Disney Resort & Spa, is snorkeling at Rainbow Reef. In fact, it’s the only private snorkeling lagoon on O’ahu. At Rainbow Reef, you can get up-close to nearly 50 different types of sea life native to Hawai`i. And we recently added an enhanced experience, S.A.S. (Supplied-Air Snorkeling), which is perfect for novice snorkelers. My fellow Disney Parks Blog author, Erin Glover, gave it a try on her last visit to Aulani – go along with her and see it for yourself in the video below.

With the announcement of a new Avengers Super Heroes Half Marathon Weekend coming to Disneyland this fall, there’s no secret that runDisney events are hugely popular. As the business expands its portfolio to now eight events throughout the year, this new race weekend provides yet another creative way to bring new runners into Disney parks and to the sport itself.
