I have always loved chalkboard-inspired art, and lucky for me, the trend has continued. So of course, the minute I saw the new collection for Aulani, a Disney Resort & Spa, I went crazy for it and absolutely had to share.
Similar to the chalkboard-inspired merchandise you have seen at Disney Parks, the artists have selected phrases and iconic symbols reminiscent of Hawai`i.
The new line of apparel, accessories and home décor items can be found at Kalepa’s Store at Aulani. Take it home on your next trip or add it to your list of gifts for the holidays. Please note: The mug (featured above) will debut in late January 2015.
Are you a fan of chalkboard-inspired art?
Cast members from Aulani, a Disney Resort & Spa, wish you and your ‘ohana and wonderful start to 2015!

As 2014 is coming to a close, we here at Disney Parks are proud and excited to learn that our fans have made us the most-geotagged locations on both Facebook and Instagram this year! Specifically, Disneyland Resort claimed the top spot on Instagram, with Disney Parks pulling in the most tags on Facebook.
Above are a few of the photos we’ve shared from @Disneyland on Instagram this year. As much as we love sharing our photos with you, the most fun part of what we do on Instagram is sharing photos from our guests. The same goes for our @WaltDisneyWorld and @DisneyAulani Instagram feeds – many of the photos shared across all three come directly from fans like you. To share your photo with us, just add #Disneyland, #WaltDisneyWorld or #Aulani to your photo description or tag @Disneyland, @WaltDisneyWorld or @DisneyAulani to your photos during your visit!

From all of us at Aulani to all of you, a very merry Christmas.
Festive fashions are as much a part of the Disney Parks Christmas special as the performances and parade floats. Some stars sported designer duds selected by personal stylists, while others chose items from their own closet. Our style squad was on hand at rehearsals for a sneak peek.
The “Disney Parks Frozen Christmas Celebration” airs December 25, 2014 on ABC-TV at 10 a.m. EST and 9 a.m. In most other time zones. Be sure to check your local listings and join the conversation online using the hashtag #DisneyParade.
At Walt Disney Parks and Resorts, citizenship is important to our culture. We are committed to giving back to our communities and do this in many different ways. This holiday season, VoluntEARS from our sites around the world brought holiday joy to young patients and orphans.
Along with Mickey and Minnie Mouse, VoluntEARS from Hong Kong Disneyland visited Siu Lam Hospital and sang and danced with the patients. They also celebrated the holidays with 300 cancer patients and their families at Maggie’s Cancer Caring Center in Tuen Mun Hospital. They enjoyed holiday treats and played musical games to brighten spirits.
Tokyo Disney Resort’s VoluntEARS hosted a fundraiser and bake sale to raise money for a holiday gift for the Aiji-no-ie Orphanage.
Mickey Mouse and his friends joined sixty VoluntEARS from Disneyland Resort and brought holiday cheer to nearly 400 children and their families at Children’s Hospital of Orange County (CHOC). They enjoyed holiday cookie decorating, a 38-foot long CHOC-olate Yule Log, Olaf-shaped balloons, reindeer games and a giant gingerbread house.
Before they even welcome their first guest, the Shanghai Disney Resort’s VoluntEARS are supporting their community by hosting weekly holiday activities at local children’s hospitals. They visited Shanghai Children’s Medical Center and decorated activity rooms and made Santa Claus hats with children.
Aulani VoluntEARS joined in the festivities and brought the holiday spirit to children in local hospitals in Hawaii.
Walt Disney Parks and Resorts VoluntEARS are committed to bringing positive change around the globe and they donate hundreds of thousands of volunteer hours each year to the communities where they work, live and play. To many of our guests, holidays are a favorite time of year at Disney Parks. Not only are the halls decked like nowhere else, we’ve also got unique holiday experiences that you’ll find only at Disney Parks and Resorts. This week, we featured three of these celebrations.
Here at the Disneyland Resort, we cruised into the holiday season at the Disney Parks Blog Christmas in Cars Land Meet-Up.
At Aulani, a Disney Resort & Spa, in Ko Olina, Hawai`i, musical segments were produced for Disney Parks Frozen Christmas Celebration with stars Gavin DeGraw, Sarah Hyland and Laura Marano.
And Nate Rasmussen took us back to the 1980s for a look back at the Candlelight Processional, a holiday tradition at both Disneyland and Walt Disney World Resorts.
Earlier this week, the beach at Aulani, a Disney Resort & Spa, was the stage for some musical segments being produced for Disney Parks Frozen Christmas Celebration.
Gavin DeGraw performed the classic song, “I’ll Be Home For Christmas” and then delighted the audience with his hit song, “Fire.”
Actress Sarah Hyland joined us to introduce the performances from Aulani.
“Austin & Ally” star Laura Marano brought some “Frozen” holiday fun to Aulani with her performance of “Do You Want to Build a Snowman?” – or should we say “Sandman?”
