I couldn’t help but be drawn into this elegant window display this morning, outside of Uptown Jewelers on Main Street, U.S.A. I love the contrast in emotions – On one side of the glass, total serenity…On the other side, heart-pounding excitement at the first sight of Cinderella Castle ahead.

These young ladies on holiday from Buenos Aires make it perfectly clear who their favorite princess (or fairy) is. Captured during a joyous day in the Magic Kingdom are, from left, Angie, Victoria, Florencia, Laura and Alexia. Life is good.
Reflection of China

In 2001, I embarked on a personal “art” project within World Showcase at Epcot. I visited various countries and tried to capture the essence of their cultures through their architecture. This image is part of that personal project, and is really a rather “tongue-in-cheek” look at China. Remember the old saying about digging to China? Of course, if you flip the image, it becomes just a reflection in a body of water. I used a Leica loaded with slide film.
