Start your birthday off right with the most magical birthday present of all: free admission on your birthday during 2009 to one of the Theme Parks of Walt Disney World® or Disneyland® Resort*! It's our gift to you and it all begins right here.

To get this wonderful birthday gift for yourself, your children or others in your household, follow these simple steps:
  • Register your birthday—and other household members' birthdays too, if you want.
  • Print the confirmation message you receive after registering your birthday.
  • You will also receive an email reminder two weeks prior to your birthday, which you can also use to redeem your free admission on your birthday.
  • Bring proper ID and your confirmation message to the Main Entrance ticket booths outside the Disneyland® Resort Theme Parks or to the Will Call booths outside the Walt Disney World® Resort Theme Parks on your birthday in 2009.
  • If you are a Passholder or already have a valid Multi-Day ticket you will use on your birthday, go ahead and register and bring the free admission on Your Birthday confirmation and proper ID to the Main Entrance ticket booths outside the Disneyland® Resort Theme Parks or to the Will Call booths outside the Walt Disney World® Resort Theme Parks on your birthday in 2009 so you can choose from one of our other exciting birthday gifts instead. When can I register online?

You can register now through December 31, 2009.

Is there any age requirement for online registration?

At the Walt Disney World® Resort registration site , you must be 18 years of age or older to register your birthday. If you're under age 18, you need to have an adult in your household register your birthday for you. At the Disneyland® Resort registration site, you must be 13 years of age or older to register online. If you're under age 13, you need to have an adult in your household, age 18 or older, register online for you.

My children don't live with me, but I'd like to sign them up for free admission on your birthday tickets. Is that possible?

At the Walt Disney World® Resort registration site, you can sign them up for free admission on your birthday tickets. At the Disneyland® Resort registration site, you can only sign up online those children under age 18 who live in your household. The other parent or guardian with whom your children are living at a different location can sign them up.

What kind of identification do I need to show at the gate?

Proper valid ID would be a Driver's License including a photo, State-issued or Government-issued photo ID, or a Government-issued Passport. If you are under age 18 and don't have any of the above mentioned ID, an original or certified copy of a Birth Certificate is required.

Do I have to be a resident of a particular state or country in order to take advantage of this offer?

No. The offer is valid for all Guests, regardless of the place of residency.

Is this offer good for all ages?

This offer is good for anyone over age 3. Children under 3 are not required to have an admission ticket to enter the Theme Parks.

What if my birthday is on February 29?

You may take advantage of free admission to a theme park on either February 28, 2009 or March 1, 2009.

I can't come on my birthday. Can I get free admission to a theme park on another day?

Unfortunately, no. The free admission to a Theme Park on your birthday offer is only valid for free admission on your birthday in 2009.

When can I pickup my birthday ticket?

Guests can pick up their free birthday ticket for admission to a theme park on their actual date of birth. Please use other purchased ticket media to enter the Parks if you plan to begin your vacation prior to your birthday.

Can I upgrade my free birthday ticket to another ticket type?

Yes, the free birthday ticket may be upgraded to another ticket type on your birthday. However the celebrant is responsible for the incremental cost and the new ticket may only be used by the celebrant. The Walt Disney World® Resort 1-Day Magic Your Way Base Ticket or Disneyland® Resort 1-Day/1-Park Ticket ticket good for 12 months (an option for certain passholders and multi-day ticket holders) may not be upgraded.

I purchased* a valid Passholder Pass or a Multi-Day Ticket that I will use for admission on my birthday in 2009. Is there anything else I could receive on my birthday?

Yes, you have several options which are available for you to select once you arrive at the Park with your confirmation message, your proper valid ID, and your Passholder Pass or Multi-Day Ticket that you will use for admission on your birthday. You can choose one of the following:
  • A birthday fun card in an amount equal to the price of a Walt Disney World® Resort 1-Day Magic Your Way Base Ticket** or a Disneyland® Resort 1-Day/1-Park Ticket** to use for select merchandise, recreation or fun activities, as applicable, at select participating locations at the Walt Disney World® Resort or Disneyland® Resort; or
  • A special birthday FASTPASS® badge*** for certain attractions at the Theme Park they visit on their birthday; or
  • A one-day, one-park ticket that can be used anytime until the Client's next birthday. This ticket may be used by the birthday celebrant only.
*No cash refunds or credits will be given. Guests using complimentary ticket media for admission on their birthday are not eligible to receive these listed options.
**Based on ticket price of Walt Disney World® Resort 1-Day Magic Your Way Base Ticket at the gate, excluding tax, or ticket price of Disneyland® Resort 1-Day/1-Park Ticket at the Main Entrance ticket booth. Adults receive card in the amount of an Adult ticket, children (3-9) receive card in the amount of a Child ticket. For terms and conditions of the card and details on participating locations and applicable activities and services that may be purchased with the card, see below.
***The number of birthday FASTPASS badges issued is limited, and badges may not be available after 11 a.m. Valid Theme Park admission required. The FASTPASS badge is for the birthday celebrant and up to five (5) members of his/her party.


Use of birthday fun card is acceptance of its terms and conditions.
  1. You may use the Birthday Fun Card towards the purchase of select merchandise items at participating merchandise locations owned and operated by the owners of the Walt Disney World® and Disneyland® Resorts. The Birthday Fun Card may also be used for other select purchases including Disney's PhotoPass® onsite services and tour experiences. The Birthday Fun Card may not be used towards the payment of Walt Disney World® or Disneyland® Resort Hotel room night folio charges, or a Disney Cruise Line® reservation aboard Disney Cruise Line®, or towards the purchase of any food and beverage items, alcohol, cigarettes, spa services and products, or personal services such as face painting, caricature drawings, hair braiding, and hair wrapping.
  2. The Birthday Fun Card is also not accepted at Walt Disney World® Resort Operating Participant locations, including but not limited to, China, Japan, and Morocco pavilions at World Showcase in Epcot®, Arribas Brothers, Basin, Basin White, Cirque du Soleil, Curl by Sammy Duval, Ghiradelli, House of Blues, Hoypoloi, LEGO Imagination Center, Magic Masters, Magnetron, Niki Bryan Spas, Orlando Harley Davidson Store, Planet Hollywood, Rainforest Cafe, Richard Petty Driving Experience, Rubio Balloon Arts, SD Watersports, Sosa Cigar, Starabillias, Sunglass Icon, Surrey Bike Rental, Virgin Megastore, Wyland Galleries and any other locations or kiosks that are not owned and operated by the owners of the Walt Disney World® Resort.
  3. The Birthday Fun Card is also not accepted at Disneyland® Resort Operating Participant locations or any other locations or kiosks that are not owned and operated by the owners of the Disneyland® Resort, including but not limited to, Midway Games, Names Unraveled, Jewel of Orleans, Silhouette Studio, Portrait Artists, Parasol Cart, Heraldry Shop, Crystal Shops (Crystal Arts & Crystal d'Orleans), Paradise Pier Face Painting, Airbrush Tattoos, Rubio Portrait Artist or at Downtown Disney® District locations except World of Disney®Store, Marceline's Confectionery, Disney Vault 28 and Disney's Pin Traders. The Birthday Fun Card is also not accepted at Disneyland®Resort outdoor vending carts.
  4. No portion of the Birthday Fun Card balances will be redeemed for cash.
  5. The terms of acceptance of the Birthday Fun Card by participating Walt Disney World® or Disneyland® Resort locations and the valid purchases that may be made by the Birthday Fun Card may vary, check with individual locations for Birthday Fun Card program participation details.
  6. The Birthday Fun Card will not be replaced if lost, stolen or damaged, except as may be required by law.
  7. The Birthday Fun Card may not be resold in any manner whatsoever.
  8. The Birthday Fun Card may not be used towards the purchase of any Disney Dollars or gift certificates/cards.
  9. The Birthday Fun Card is issued by and represents an obligation of Disney Gift Card Services, Inc.
  10. The Birthday Fun Card is not a credit or debit card and carries no warranties, express or implied.
  11. Disney Gift Card Services, Inc. is not responsible for any unauthorized use of your Birthday Fun Card.
  12. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in the applicable merchandise return policies, if merchandise purchased with a Birthday Fun Card is returned with an original receipt, an exchange for an item(s) of equal value will be made or a Walt Disney World® Resort/Disneyland® Resort Merchandise Credit will be provided. All other terms and conditions of the merchandise return policy will apply.

What if I'm a Passholder and my birthday falls on a day my Pass is blocked out?

If your birthday falls on a day that your Pass is blocked out, you will be able to receive the free birthday ticket for admission to one theme park on your birthday. You can upgrade the ticket or use the ticket to renew or upgrade your Pass. If you upgrade the ticket or your Pass you are responsible for the incremental cost and the upgraded ticket or Pass still may only be used by you.
