This amazing Mickey dance routine is just one example of the one-of-a-kind experiences that take place at Disney’s Wide World of Sports Complex throughout the year.
We’ll be giving you the scoop on those kinds of experiences and so much more as Disney’s Wide World of Sports Complex transitions into ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex over the next several months as part of the Disney-ESPN collaboration to take youth sports to the next level.
Along the way, we’ll take you behind the scenes at some of the biggest sports events at Disney, such as the Old Spice Classic college basketball tournament over Thanksgiving Weekend, the Home Depot ESPNU College Football Awards in December and Atlanta Braves Spring Training in February.
Essentially, this is a great place to get all of the insider information about the biggest events in amateur sports and some of the marquee names in pro sports.

I love seeing these types of clips, where characters do something just a little unexpected.
And if you remember back to 1994, Mickey actually did a little “popping and locking” breakdance moves on top of his float during the Mickey Mania parade in the Magic Kingdom.
Do you remember these classic 80s lyrics from the song?:

On a side note, I hope the transition of the WWOS will make a difference and make it a more integral part of the property. Because often when I am at WDW, unless there is a special event going on, WWOS is empty with nothing to do. So, my question is, will it be turining into a special events venue (nothing wrong with that) or a place that the average guest can visit on any day?
