Holiday Treats at Disney Parks

It’s usually a given…I visit a park and end up with snack in hand, especially during the holidays. And the Santa Mickey Crispy is a favorite. We found this treat at the Candy Cauldron at Downtown Disney and so can you this month.

Santa Mickey Rice Crispy Treat

Of course, there are many other treats in the parks to choose from. Share your favorites in the comments.

  • I must say the Hot Fudge Sundae at Seashore Sweets on the Boardwalk is the BEST sundae I have ever eaten.

  • The Mickey Crispies in the Main Street confectionary are great, because if you walk up at the right time, they might pass you a small taste under the glass while it’s still warm.

My favorites are the cinnamon rolls at the Main Street bakery, the creme brulee at the French bakery (Epcot), and of course the Mickey Ears ice cream bars.

Nothing so far, though, can top the dessert bar at Chef Mickeys in the Contemporary!

On a related note, when I was young (25 years ago), you could buy the Mickey Ears ice cream at the local grocer. Do they still sell them anywhere other than the parks?

  • We were at the Disneyland resort a week ago and they were making apples in the shapes of Mickey and Minnie Ears along with Snowmen and Christmas Trees. Almost too good to eat!

  • Not sure if this counts as a holiday treat but the Chocolate Covered S’More found in any cany shop is the best!

  • We were at WDW for our annual Christmas vacation last week. One of my favorite shops at Downtown Disney is Goofy’s Candy Company. The smell of sugar hits you as soon as you open the door! I couldn’t decide between a pre-made crispy treat or the ones where you make your own, so I got both! The “custom” Mickey crispy treat was dipped in chocolate, covered in holiday sprinkles, and then drizzled with more chocolate. I also got a pre-made snowman-shaped crispy treat.

  • Butterfinger cupcake!

  • We’re big fans of Disney holiday treats — I love the Disneyland candy canes and the holiday-colors Dole Whips!

  • After watching the video of how they make the candy canes at Disneyland I have been dying to get one! Are they as good as they look?

  • The BEST treat hands down is the Chocolate Chip Supreme cookie. You can get it in most of the bakery cases at the sweet shops but you can also buy them prepackaged. We always stock up on them to keep some in the freezer at home. AMAZING!
