  • We were at Victoria and Albert’s on 12-11-09, celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary and were seated in the fireplace room. Is this the room they’ll be using for the Queen Victoria’s Room dining?

We were also wondering if this new dining experience is being added because it’s so difficult to get into the Chef’s Table for dinner.

One change we noticed from our last visit there in 2000 was that the CM’s there get to have their real names on their badges, instead of all the women being named “Victoria” and all the men being named “Albert”. This never made sense to us before and we think it was a change for the better.

One thing that hasn’t changed and we were very happy to see, was that we were able to request (well in advance) our favorite soup from our very first visit there. It’s their Cashew Cream Soup and it’s still as good as the first time we enjoyed it there!
