A quick update to begin the week…we’re thrilled to announce that our first “Give a Day, Get a Disney Day” guests have arrived at Magic Kingdom Park. Megan Connors and Torey Bixler from the University of Maryland College Park volunteered for A Wider Circle organization to help distribute furniture to shelters. Both said they had planned a trip to the Walt Disney World Resort and decided to perform a day of volunteer service to receive a one-day admission ticket to the theme park.
There are still opportunities to participate in the “Give a Day, Get a Disney Day” program – Just check disneyparks.com and sign up.
Of course, there are some official details you should know about: You must pre-register and sign up for eligible volunteer opportunity at disneyparks.com. Ticket quantities for this program are limited. Must be at least age 6 to participate. One ticket per person. Other terms and conditions apply. For details, see disneyparks.com in the United States and Puerto Rico. In Canada, see disneyparks.ca.

I have a question that could not be answer by the Q&A portion of the Give a Day, Get a Day page. If you can please cantact me via email. Or let me know who i can talk to.
I just signed up to volunteer for Give A Day, Get A Day for our February trip (our first!!). What a GREAT program. Imagine the impact we could make if every company incentivized people to volunteer – a wonderful program that will get me to finally do what I keep talking about (volunteer) and get a reward in return. See you in February! (and it better be warmer down there) 🙂
