The most voracious fans of Disney’s California Food & Wine Festival know that the fifth annual Festival will celebrate “The Art of Flavor” from April 16 through May 31 this year. But the date they’re really craving is the first day of ticket sales. We’ve got that news for you today.

Tickets for selected Signature events go on sale February 4 for Disneyland Resort Annual Passholders only, at the Special Offer Page. General sales of all Festival Signature events will begin on February 16 at 10 a.m., at www.disneyland.com/foodandwine.

Annual Passholders will be able to register from February 4 through February 15 to get special reduced prices for these events: winemaker dinners, a new Brewmaster Dinner, and the Festival finale celebration “Taste Food-Wine-Life.” Annual Passholders must provide proof of membership online.

While you may be familiar with the winemaker dinners, here’s a little more information about “Taste Food-Wine-Life.” It’s a fun, high-energy evening that combines the best elements of the Food & Wine Festival into one grand finale celebration, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday, May 29. The party has live musical entertainment, an outstanding selection of wines and a variety of food to taste. Not only do you get to see Disney chefs whipping up their specialty food dishes, you can talk to them about their creations as you sample their work.

If you’ve attended Disney’s California Food & Wine Festival in previous years, please share what you enjoyed most at the Festival.

  • I am so excited to finally be 21 for the Festival!!

  • This is my favorite time at Cal Adventure. I have been going since it began. The best part is the food demos. Last year I attended Jamie Gwen’s demo as well as many of the chef’s throughout the park’s demo. Don’t miss this event!

  • My favorite things about the Food and Wine festival is finding the festival inspired foods at the different restaurants and stands throughout the park. Oh, and the special wine bar located on top of the regular wine bar!

  • My favorite thing is sampling the different menu items…no, wait, it’s the wine seminars…no, wait, it’s Sweet Sundays…or maybe it’s the cooking demos…

  • Hello!

WOW! I have been to two of these fabulous events, and I CAN’T WAIT to go back this year! I share this event with my other half, and we always have a really great time!

Being a bit of a chef myself, and having been around the world, I can honestly say that there are a) few events like this anywhere, and b) the quality you get is absolutely world class cuisine.

One thing that I am especially excited about is the magical, and tasteful return of the
“Taste of California” Marketplace. This will be one of the most unique lunches you will ever have. So, do partake! And, as food goes out there, the prices are very, very reasonable for this

Each Festival is an event all to it’s own, because every year, Disney tends to feature different chefs, coming from a very wide array of restaurants.

And, if you have never really explored the world of wine, California cuisine, or just want to find out how to impress some guests at that next party, come on down! Be inspired, because California Cuisine is the envy of the planet!

  • I can’t wait to attend this year’s DCA Food & Wine Festival. Any idea on what the Sweet Sunday event for April 18th is? It’s my anniversary and I’d love to take my sweetheart that day.
