First Disney Parks Blog Pins
They’re baked and ready to go…a first-ever batch of Disney Parks Blog pins.

We’re giving you a first look at the pins because attendees of the Disney Social Media Moms Celebrations event at Walt Disney World will be the first guests to receive them this week. They’ll never be for sale so we’re working on some unique ideas on how to get them into your hands. We’ll post more details here.

Also, look for other social media focused pins from Disney Parks in the future.

  • Unique idea: Maybe people who post comments to the blog could get a pin. 😉

  • Haha! They look great! Clean and simple are always my favourite.

  • I love this pin as a Disney Parks Blog reader and as a blogger myself! Please update us about when and how these might be available in the future. I can’t wait to see what other social media pins Disney has in store!

  • Thanks for sharing the pic! Love it and the balloons are the perfect touch! 😀

  • I love that pin! Cant wait to find out how me might be able to get one! I think the first ten people who post a comment here should get one 😉 Thank you so much for the updates – i love reading the blog every day! 🙂

  • What a classic image! I love it. Well done, as always! Thanks for sharing.

  • GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!
    How can I order?

  • Those pins are very classy. I need one!

  • Yes, first 10 who comment sounds like a great idea! 😉

  • Yes, give them to the first 10 people who comment on this post! 😉

  • Naw. I think the first 11 people would be better. 🙂

  • Cool pin! I think the social media initative that Disney is doing is GREAT! I just discovered the blog a few weeks ago. Its nice to get a ‘daily Disney fix’ beyond the unofficial sites out there.

  • I would have loved to attend this event but found out about it too late. I read the blog everyday and am very interested in finding out how to get one of these pins. Thanks for posting the picture!

  • I love the tiny Mickey-head balloons. Very simply, completely evocative!

  • Or at least the first 15 could get them.

  • I love it ! It’s simple and cute. Not too flashy.

  • Looks GREAT, Tom! Hmmm, any plans for a Moms Panel pin? 😉

  • How awesome is THAT! This would have been worth going for, alone! Was not able to get in but am on the mailing list for next conference!! please keep us posted on how to obtain this treasure!

  • I only have a few pins, but this one is very clean and well branded. Nice job! Any thoughts on picking from those who have left the most comments on the blog overall? I look forward to hearing more!

  • Nice pin! Simple, but awesome! Are there other ways to get it?

  • Love the pin….very clean and beautiful…..this will be one that my son will be looking for….

  • How about pins for the social media savvy Disney Moms over at http://www.disneyworldmoms.com!

  • And I’m with Bret, too, awaiting for a Moms Panel pin!!

  • The pin looks great. I can’t wait to see more of these kinds of pins in the future. 🙂

  • Very nice! I’ll be there at Disney World at the end of the month. I’ll keep watching for how the pins will be distributed after the event. 🙂

  • How about the first 26? LOL! I agree with the other comments that what makes this pin so beautiful is that it is clean and simple. The pin automatically makes me think of all the wonderful things I have read, heard, seen, and learned because of the Disney Parks Blog. I look forward to reading new posts everyday and enjoy this blog so much!!

  • Kewl Pin! Pin trading is fun pastime and one of the many highlights of our yearly trip! I’ll be looking for this one on those laynards …

  • I’d like to see a new system for the pins to help newbies like me get into it a little bit without worrying about fake pins and pin sharks and crazy expensive pins. The history of the pins and the simplicity of the pins lend to a nice way to personalize trips to the parks. I’m looking forward to finding the best way for my kids and I to enjoy being a part of it in our small way. The blog pin is great. Now you face the same problem, how to distribute them in an encouraging way without undue emphasis on monetary exchange or copies.

  • That is one nice pin! An absolute must-have!! 🙂 Can’t wait to hear on how to get one!

  • This is a great idea — be sure to post an update and advise how we can add items like these to our lanyards.

  • I want 1 !!!!!

  • LOVE it!!! I want one!!!

  • Cute! Love the balloons!

  • Regular followers of the blog should get a pin! My favorite part of the day is getting my Disney fix here!

  • I think you should just send one to the first 50 bloggers to comment on this thread!!

  • Awe very vintage! Keep us updated

  • I saw the post for this on Facebook, and since I’m a pin collector it caught my eye. I didn’t even know about this blog! So in addition to obviously hoping for a pin in the future, I now have something new to read everyday to get my Disney fix.

  • Please make sure there is a way for overseas followers to be included. We always miss out because we don’t live in the US, but we are still fans of Disneyworld, and travel al ong way to get their (our trips usually take about 20 hours to get there!!!)

  • These are beautiful! I can’t wait to find out how I can get my hands on one.

  • Wow…..I need these pins…..Please get these for us poor souls snowed in right now…..Thanks

  • I want one too!!!! I collect pins too and hope to get a new one on my very first WD Cruise next month!! So excited. I think the first 100 people who comment should get one!!!

  • I like it! Simple but cute. I would buy!

  • Wow. Love it. Can’t wait to get it next week.

  • That is a great looking pin!

  • I would like to get my hands on one of those pins!

  • Very cute pin!

  • That’s awesome! I love the way Disney is capitalizing on the social media movement. How do I find out more about the Disney Social Media Moms Celebrations event?

  • Disney always has great ideas. This pin and its design are fabulous. Like everyone else, I would really love to have one.

  • Beautiful pin, instantly noticeable and wonderfully iconic. The subtle colours are lovely and the white BG sets it apart from the usual pins. The soaring balloons straightaway make me think ‘spirit of Disney.’ Something special indeed.

Looking forward to seeing the other social media pins mentioned in the future.

  • again…if the pins were sold on this blog only, just think of the $money$ Disney could make to support the resorts, etc. give us all a break, as pin collectors we like & we will buy…so sell :))
