Video Update on the Downtown Disney District in Anaheim

If you have children, grandchildren, nieces or nephews, chances are they’ve built a bear at Build-A-Bear Workshop. We have one right here at the Downtown Disney District. “Building” seems to be a growing fad and lots of fun for kids. The LEGO Imagination Center at the Downtown Disney District invites kids to build until their hearts’ content.

The video below shows some of the new interactive experiences at the Downtown Disney District, including a very cool and fun, new shop called Ride Makerz, where you can build your own remote control car. There’s also The Board Factory, where boarders can build their own skateboard stand. And, I can’t forget to mention Studio Disney 365, where you can be transformed into a pop star.

There’s a lot that’s happening at the Downtown Disney District these days, and not all of it is for kids. Grown-ups, there’s a lot for you too.

  • We had not been to Downtown Disney for several months and we were surprised to find so many new things, including the carts. We especially were very pleaed to see a store for DOGS and CATS! Palace 4 Paws was cool! They had great stuff, we could outfit our 4 dogs, even our XXL Bull Dog! Very friendly service too! I would check it out, great stuff, great service and great prices!
We also loved our visit to 365! My girls were beatiful! Had alot of fun! Our visit to Disney was great! We will come back sooner next time!

  • The addition of Downtown Disney is like the “Icing on the Cake” when our family comes to Disneyland!! True to form, everyone in the family will find something to enjoy! We always plan dinner at one of the excellent restaurants and then often times return for the fireworks at the Park. Ralph Brennan’s Jazz Kitchen is our personal favorite, especially on Friday and Saturday when Kenny Sara and The Sounds of New Orleans jazz group is there!!

  • Wow so much has changed since just Sept. I can’t wait to see the new additions. I do want to applaud you for the build your own boards and remote cars shops that are geared more towards boys!I’m a Disney mom with 3 boys ages 6 and twins 14. Boys always get the short end of the stick even at Disney so this is a great attempt compliment all the make-over stations throughout Disney. We will get to try these shops out in March thanks again!!

  • I really enjoy Downtown Disney. Its got a very interesting collection of shops and great dining.

I love going to the AMC theater and looking around the Compass Books store.
