Atlanta Braves Spring Training at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex
It’s the first week of March and the aroma of freshly popped popcorn and grilled hot dogs fill the air at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at Walt Disney World Resort which can only mean one thing- the start of Atlanta Braves Spring Training. The Braves throw out the first pitch of their spring training season today, March 3rd, against the New York Mets at Champion Stadium.

ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex enters its 13th season as the spring training home of the Atlanta Braves and this year promises to be a memorable one because of new fan experiences, ballpark enhancements and the farewell of manager Bobby Cox, who begins his last season with the Braves squad.

Quite frankly, there isn’t a better stadium in the Citrus League to experience the excitement of spring training than inside Champion Stadium at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. The new jumbo screen will enhance fan viewing and an exclusive pre-game on-field experience allows you onto the field behind home plate to watch the Braves and their opponents warm-up. Of course, you can also count on some Disney magic to be sprinkled in to each Braves game.

Ticket plans and individual game tickets are still available, but make sure to buy them early because this season’s schedule is packed with top teams, such as the World Champion New York Yankees, St. Louis Cardinals and Philadelphia Phillies.
