The Stage is Set for World of Color

It’s very exciting around Disney’s California Adventure park these days. In this video we take you inside the control booth as Walt Disney Imagineers work overnight testing lights, fire and nearly 1,200 fountains for the new nighttime spectacular “World of Color.” You’ll also see some exclusive footage from our time lapse camera and more glimpses of the show. “World of Color” is set to debut on June 11. Enjoy!

  • I am looking forward to seeing the opening show. Does anyone know what time the show will be starting? I looked at the schedule listed for that day and they list every other event and the time but not World of Color. Can it be viewed all around the water or just in the new viewing area?

  • This looks really cool! I can’t wait to see it! Too bad it wasn’t open a couple weeks ago when I was there!

  • WOW WOW WOW WOW!! This is going to be amazing!!

  • simply amazing. please tell us there are going to be AP Previews!!!!!!

  • I just went to Bellagio. The World of Color reminded me so much of this show! Although the Bellagio is bigger and its fountains can shoot over 300 feet taller than the World of Color’s fountains, I still think World of Color is a good show.

  • When we go to Disneyland this July, I really hope that we can afford to go to DCA as well, I would love to see this show! It looks amazing.

  • Oh wow looks amazing!

  • How many lights are in the World of Color. I know that they have about 1,2000 nozzles, but do you have the exact number of Shooters,Oarsmen, Super Shooters, or Extreme Shooters the World of Color has. Also, what is the cost of the project? I’m doing a paper on the World of Color and would like to have a lot of facts.

  • wow looks amazing disney has done great with everthing they do!!! so exited to see it soon
