Here they are – the winners of our first trivia contest!
Yesterday we hosted 50 winners and their guests at the blue carpet and world premiere of “World of Color.” These winners were the first 50 people to respond with the correct answers to three “World of Color” questions that we asked here on the blog.
It was a truly special group – these winners were the only guests to attend the event, aside from celebrities, media and cast members.
The group checked in for the event in the Esplanade and received goody bags with “World of Color” treats and Disney Parks Blog pins. From there, the winners headed to the carpet to see celebrities, including Teri Hatcher, John Stamos, Geena Davis, Vanessa Hudgens and many more.
It was so great speaking with many of you as you were checking in. I enjoyed hearing your thoughts on the contest, and I loved how enthusiastic you were! I also got a chance to speak with some of you at the blue carpet, including Josh and Bryce (pictured below) who drove all the way from Sacramento, CA, just for the event.

The winners watched the world premiere of “World of Color” in Paradise Park and were give colored popcorn and beverages as they got ready to see the show.
Just after the show, Daniel from Pasadena, CA, told us, “The fountains at the end of the show look like buckets of colored paint. The colors are unbelieveable!”
I’m glad you had a good time, Daniel and Bryce, and I hope all the winners enjoyed the evening.

It was so nice to meet you last night! I was so excited about being there I think I tried to shake your hand four times. (embarrassing) Thank you for all of the goodies that we were given and for the opportunity to be there for this special event. This night truly was a magical experience for me. I cannot stop talking about the show and how amazing everything was. The vibrant colors, the magnificent fountains, the artists’ craftmanship, the heart-stirring music and images – oh it was just wonderful! WOW WOW WOW! Bravo Disney, I cannot wait to share this with more friends and family members! Thank you, thank you, and thank you again!

After watching WoC last night online I just CAN NOT WAIT (we were there in March, stayed at the Grand Californian with a DCA view and watched as yall tested…OMG AMAZING seeing that every night!) until April 2011…So we decided to come out for November! ACK! Im so excited I could explode! Congrats to the winners..I am green and purple (and every other imaginable color!) with envy! LOVED LOVED LOVED that yall brought the new Mickey Mouse out!
