Wine Country Trattoria Re-Opens At Disney California Adventure

With a new menu and redesigned interior, Wine County Trattoria at the Golden Vine Winery at Disney California Adventure Park debuts just in time for ‘World of Color‘ guests.

Mediterranean favorites that pair nicely with international wines are on the menu, with favorites such as “pasta your way,” Wine Country shrimp on polenta with lemon-caper butter sauce, braised lamb shank and sustainable fish with citrus pesto. The arugula salad with smoked chicken, fennel, red onion, spiced walnuts and goat cheese is a meal on a plate. And who can resist authentic tiramisu with sweetened Italian mascarpone?

Wines from California and Italy include favorites from Napa Valley such as Far Niente and Angelo Gaja from Tuscany, with more than 25 available by the glass, including gems from boutique wineries. Wine flights with three tastings also are offered.

Outdoor dining in the wide plaza features a beautiful fountain surrounded by herbs and flowers reminiscent of Napa Valley. Inside, the cozy dining room is reminiscent of a hacienda with plastered walls, terra cotta tiles and arched doorways.

In addition to the Wine Country Trattoria, the Golden Vine Winery also offers food and beverage on both terraces. ‘World of Color’ Picnics may be purchased and picked up at the Sonoma Terrace and Guests may enjoy wine by the glass and wine flights on the Mendocino Terrace.

  • What is going in the 2nd floor? Where the Vineyard Room used to be? I had heard rumor that there would be a wine bar up there.

  • The food looks great!

I’m glad that the restaurant is open again.

  • This is definitely a blessed, and perhaps slightly less expensive option than the Napa Rose fare (while similar)!

I am on the edge of my seat for both this cuisine, and of course, W.O.C.

I will miss the panini sandwiches, and the country cheddar soup. 🙁

But, I do welcome fresh, new food!

To D.C.A. – I wish you all the best at record attendance!

  • Any word on when the new menu will be up on the website? I’ve got reservations for a World of Color package on Friday.

  • My husband and I are both foodies, and the new menu looks amazing! It’s wonderful to have an in-park table-service restaurant with more sophisticated offerings than typical theme park fare. We will be making a reservation for our next trip for sure!

  • Looks delicious!! Don’t believe me? Ask the dishes!!!…….Sorry, I literally could not resist! hehehehehe….

  • Wow sounds awesome will have to try that when I go in October and December.

  • Everything looks delicious. We had a great time there last summer, excellent service.

  • When will the menu be updated on the Disneyland.com website? This is on my short list of places I’ve yet to eat at so I’m looking forward to seeing the menu and planning a meal for a future visit.

  • Thank goodness, we hated missing this place in May – looks fabulous! Any idea what the kid’s menu consists of?
