Registration for one of Disney’s most popular races is officially open! Be sure to sign up for Disney’s Princess Half Marathon Weekend presented by Lady Foot Locker, set for February 25-27, 2011.

The women-focused event invites runners of all types to come enjoy Kids’ Races, a Family 5K, health and fitness expo and half marathon, all Princess themed, of course.

And if you can’t wait until February to get running, check out some of our other endurance races currently open for registration. Our Inaugural Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend is a nighttime race that culminates in a post-race party inside the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival, complete with a relay option that lets you split the 13.1 mile journey with a companion.

And of course, don’t forget the Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend presented by CIGNA January 7-9, 2011. Our premier race weekend features a half marathon and marathon as well as Kids’ Races, a 5K and the health and fitness expo. Check for all your registration and detailed event information!

  • I registered last week. I am so excited. I have not run in years and I am so out of shape, but everyone seems to think that I have plenty of time to get into shape for the 1/2. Is that true? I am very nervous about it. eeekkk

  • Thank you Kelsi!!

  • Wow – those are some great costumes!

  • Dear Stephanie,
God Bless your husband. I wish both of you the best of luck and safety. -Kelsi-

  • That’s my husband in the Army uniform!! He was going to pace me, but I ended up in a boot and on crutches. This was our “pre-deployment” trip as he was being shipped out shortly after.

GREG – I LOVE YOU and I MISS YOU!! Stay safe.

  • Really excited about this. I’m expecting a new baby in December; going to just train with walking until the baby is born; hoping I can be back in shape before the race!
