  • I’m celebrating being cancer free and going through the entire process of doctors and surgeries on my own. My family lives 1,000 miles from me so I’ve been having 1 neighbor drop me off at hospital then another pick me up, sometimes days later after surgeries. My nieces, ages 8 and 13, whom I love like my own children (which I don’t have and now never can) have never been to a Disney park before so I’m flying home to St. Louis packing the car and we’re driving from there to Orlando. I just had my last surgery May 25 so I will not be able to ride all the rides I want to but just walking down Main St. will wash all my cares away! And I CANNOT WAIT to see the looks on my girl’s faces!! There’s no way I’ll be able to think of cancer, mounting medical bills, etc., when I’m surrounded by Mickey and the gang! And that’s exactly why I’m coming! OHHHH, and we’ll be there on my 36th birthday, the most important birthday thus far!!! A Million reasons to celebrate!!! Arriving in WDW July 25th and I cannot wait!! πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚

  • We spent our first ever family vacation, our daughters 10th and my moms ??st, Birthday at Walt Disney World, we went for 5 days, and it was awesome. There was so much to see and do, that we hardly made it to see anything we wanted to. We took them to the boutique to get a princess makeover, where our daughter was given her Princess Proclamation complete with glass slipper, tiara, and decree signed by Ariel (her favorite princess). My mom got her Tiffany Style bracelet. The Fairy God Mothers were wonderful to both my daughter and my mom, and at the end, they even surprised me with a gift I was not expecting. This was our first ever vacation, and when we got home, they all wanted to know if we could go back, so next year, guess where we are going for vacation, yep you guessed it, WDW. I planned this trip for a long time and wanted everything to be perfect, and it was. Everyone from the reservations, information, Disney Floral and Gifts, and to the people that delivered the welcome gifts and decorated our villa for our arrival, security, ticket windows, gate/park assistants, Photographers, just everyone that works in the Disney community were all extremely pleasant no matter how hot or how wet outside it was. I want to THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart for making our vacation the special event that it was for us. I look forward to coming back next year.

  • Many things! Highlights:

3 of 4 of our children Turned 5 years old IN WDW…#4 will next Sept! Making it a complete set πŸ˜‰
    Our 10 Year Wedding Anniversary
    Child #2’s 10 Year B-Day

    My 40th Birthday

Looking forward to many more Celebrations in WDW! πŸ™‚

  • The first summer Disney World was open, 1972, my husband and I went there in June for our honeymoon week. We had advance reservations at the Contemporary Hotel for a ground floor room at $28.00 a night! The higher floor rooms were more expensive, but Disney was trying to fill the hotel, so they gave us a free upgrade to the floor just above the monorail (which runs through the hotel) and rented our room to walk-ins. We had a wonderful balcony view of the park and the fireworks. Disney World became our favorite family vacation spot, and we returned many times with our 3 kids. My husband passed away in ’96, but this July 12th, I’m bringing my 2 granddaughters (and their mom & dad) back to our favorite spot. Unfortunately, The Contemporary is out of my price range now! πŸ™‚ We love Disney World!

  • I am under my dad’s computer , butt My name is Kristin and I celebrated my engagement @ the Magic Kingdom this past May. My fiance proposed to me infront of the castle @ Night. With my parents close by. The Disney photographer was RIGHT THERE, and she captured the most amazing moment of my life on Camera. We are actually planning a Disney Wedding. This TRULY is the place where Magic Happens πŸ™‚

    Thanks for Listening,
    Kristin

  • We had our honeymoon at Disney World last year. We’re planning on going back next year to celebrate our 2nd wedding anniversary.

  • We will be Celebrating our 36th Anniversary!!!!!!!!!

  • My husband and I got engaged at WDW, celebrated our first wedding anniversary, birthdays, ran many races, and in a couple of weeks we will be there celebrating my 30th birthday!

  • In May of 2008, my husband and I celebrated our honeymoon! We flew all the way from south Texas to spend our first week as husband and wife in the most magical place on Earth! It could not have been a better week. It was my first trip to the park, so within 48 hours two of my childhood dreams came true- marrying the man of my dreams and seeing Cinderella’s castle with my own two eyes. It truely was a magical experience.
This May we returned with some friends to celebrate our second anniversary! It was our last be trip before we start trying to have children and we knew it HAD to be at Disney World. It was perfect.
Thank you, Walt Disney World, for keeping a married couples magic alive <3

  • What better place is there for a celebration? In October 2005 we celebrated our 7th anniversary. In December 2007 we celebrated Christmas Day there. In September 2008 we celebrated our daughter’s 9th birthday there. And in 2011 I’ll be celebrating my birthday there. πŸ˜€

  • EVERY Year!!! I spend a week at Disneyland for my Birthday!!!
For the first time in I can’t tell you how many years, I will be at Paris Disney and not Disneyland!!!! But it is always my Birthday!!!

  • Most recently, parents and I celebrated their 30th anniversary and my finishing the bar exam at Disneyland the day after the exam was done… then we continued the celebration (when I found out that I’d passed the bar) at Walt Disney World a few months later! πŸ™‚

  • We celebrated our honeymoon in 2000 — and most recently, our 10 year anniversary. Disney is such a magical place to celebrate anything!

  • My favorite trip to Disney was when my parents took me, my sister, the foreign exchange student we were hosting at the time, and my best friend. On that trip my sister and the exchange student celebrated their birthdays, and me and my friend celebrated our graduation from high school. Also this past year my family celebrated New Years down at Disney, and it was the past New Years ever!

  • I celebrated my college graduation at Walt Disney World last May! I hope to go back this September for my 25th birthday, but that’s beginning to look like it won’t happen. πŸ™

  • 2 Years ago my oldest daughter who is almost 16 now was kidnapped and raped. It was the hardest thing our family ever had to go through. The night she came back while she was in the hospital, she told me that when she is better ” we are SOOO going to Disney” The day of the last hearing that put her attackers away we left for Disney.
We had such a magical experience, all 3 of my daughters had a blast…but it was finally seeing a peace come over my oldest daughter and getting to see her laugh and smile that let me know that Disney is the most magical place on earth.
My daughter asked if we could try to go to Disney every year on the anniversery of her attack because being there makes her feel safe and ok…I dont know that we can afford it but we are sure going to try!

  • Every day at WDW is a celebration! We love to celebrate our girls birthdays at WDW. They happen to fall in March and November which are great times to visit the parks.

  • When my wife was an employee of Disney 20 years ago, she was treated to a birthday scavenger hunt on Disney property. Her friends and fellow co-workers put together an elaborate hunt that spanned all three parks (AK wasn’t built yet) and hotels. She says it was the best birthday she’s ever had.

We’ve also celebrated our youngest son’s birthday at Disney. He was only five at the time, but still remembers the birthday stickers he would get from cast members.

  • My husband and I took our two children to WDW for our 10th anniversary in 2007.

  • We go to DW in 10 days….can’t wait…we are celebrating my daughters 10th bday, our 11th anniversary, and mainly celebrating after getting through a tough year!

  • We visit WDW in April for our anniversary (45) and come back again in September for both of our birthdays. We love Disney and can’t think of a better place to vacation, with or without kids!!

  • My husband and I just celebrated our honeymoon and my birthday at Disney World last week!

  • My husband and I are Disney Snobs! We go to disney for any and every reason. We’ve gone for our anniversary, birthdays, valentine, Christmas, Thanksgiving, our daughter’s birthday, and best reason of all JUST BECAUSE!!! We are very fortunate to go to WDW atleast 3 times a year. I dont think I could ever get bored or tired of going. We always discover something new everytime we go. I can’t wait for many more magical years to come!!

  • We have celebrated everything at our favorite place to visit WDW.
Wedding, anniv. birthdays, honeymoon…just because. It is a great opportunity for me as a mom to have some real down time. I appreciate the staff who does everything for us and gives me an opportunity to relax. We have stayed at just about every place on the property, and have enjoyed it all. We were there when the doors opened and we still have our original pull stub tickets. We are looking forward to an October spooky good time!!!

  • We recently celebrated our daughters 3rd birthday. It was fantastic. Her favorite parts were the Fire Works at Magic Kingdom and the Light Parade. We are making this an Annual event and once we have our nd child we will be visiting twice a year.

  • last year we celebrated my college graduation and this year we celebrated my cousins 19th birthday!

  • last year i celebrated my college graduation and this year we celebrated my cousins 19th birthday!

  • I’ve celebrated many things over the years at Disney. In October 2007 my husband and I celebrated our honeymoon, and will be returning this October to celebrate our 3 year anniversary!

The biggest celebration for us however was in June 2008 when my entire family (aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents, etc) traveled to Disney World. The trip was originally planned as just a large family get-together, but it ended up being a celebration of life….my uncle suffered a heart attack in the spring at the age of 51. We were blessed that he survived and fully recovered to still join us on our trip and every day after!

Thank you Disney for being a host to so many celebrations!

  • what if you could unite 2 people and make them the happiest couple on earth using your parks… what would you do??

  • My husband and I celebrated our engagement, our honeymoon and our first pregnancy all at WDW. He proposed to me there, we left for our honeymoon there 2 days after our wedding and when I was 11 weeks pregnant we went for to celebrate and have our “last vacation” for a while since we have a baby on the way. We will definitely be back within the next few years so our daughter can experience the magic! πŸ™‚

  • Our family will be at Disneyland on Thursday, August 26th. We can only be there one day this year. It is our Give-A-Day-Get-A-Disney-Day. I searched the internet for a holiday. Did you know that is National Cherry Popsicle Day? So, please raise your frozen flavored treat on a stick and celebrate with us!

  • In less than 2 weeks, my husband and I will be returning to the World to celebrate many things that have happened this year. I just graduated from college, turned 30 in February, and we will be celebrating our 10 year wedding anniversary in October. (We, of course, honeymooned at WDW!) Most importantly, though, we are celebrating our 13 year anniversary of when we first came to the World in July 1997 as teenagers. Our children are staying home this trip so that Mommy and Daddy can be kids again! Walt Disney World is our family’s place for celebration, and we wouldn’t have it any other way. I just wish they had a button that said, “Celebrating a Graduation, Many Anniversaries, and a Very Merry Un-Birthday!”

  • I’ve celebrated a birthday (my 11th birthday which was my very first trip to Disney) and my husband and I went in 2000 for our honeymoon. I plan on going back and taking my nephew within the next year or 2.

  • this year my husband and I celebrated our marriage and family by spending the last day of our honeymoon at animal kingdom with my half siblings who live far from us.

  • In April, at Disneyland, I celebrated with a couple of friends that I went to high school with. I am hoping to celebrate my 40th birthday next year in Walt Disney World. I was born the same month and year, when the Magic Kingdom opened up.

  • We celebrated my vision. I was diagnosed with Macular Degeneration and was losing my sight. But, there is a new treatment for this awful disease and it is working for me. I have regained my lost sight. It is great ‘seeing’ Disney in all it’s colors, fun and sights!

  • I’m going to Disney next month with my boyfriend. We’ll celebrate our first year togheter.

  • Hands down our main event celebrated at Walt Disney World was our honeymoon. We arrived from Melbourne, FL, by limo and checked in at the Contemporary Resort. We were privileged to get a room in the main building, something both of us had dreamed of but had never been able to do. While we didn’t purchase any of the special honeymoon packages, we did tell the front desk that we were there on our honeymoon, and word spread around the hotel rather quickly. We found an ice bucket with champagne in our room one evening (though we appreciated it, we don’t drink, so they swapped it out for a fruit tray instead), and a plate of killer candies another night. It was amazing!

  • Everyday is a celebration at Disney World. We have been there with our children at least 35 times and with our children and grandchildren 4 times. It’s hard to pick a favorite time but I think I will have to go with last year’s trip in October. We absolutely loved the Mickey’s No So Scary Halloween Party. It was so much fun and so well organized. We are planning another trip for the same time this year. We have decided it’s just the perfect time of the year to visit Mickey!! Come to think of it, this could very well be our 40th visit to Disney World, AWESOME!!

  • So far, we have celebrated 3 of our daughter’s 5 birthdays there, and we were just there in December for my birthday. I wanted to bring my son there for his 1st birthday, considering he “began” there πŸ™‚ They don’t call it the happiest place on earth for nothing!

  • My husband and I try to go there every year to celebrate my daughter’s birthday, she passed away four years ago in February. We missed going in December because, like everyone else, I lost my job. Hopefully, I’ll find a job and then we will get to go again this December to celebrate her birthday. It truly is the happiest place on earth and makes you appreciate life!! We love Disney!!

  • I just got back from a trip down last week where I celebrated my graduation from high school! It was such a blast and a great way to celebrate a new chapter in my life.

  • We had our honeymoon at WDW; got married Dec 2008 and headed to the parks April 2009. It was my husband’s first visit (my tenth, I think!) and now we’re looking at our budget and trying to work out if we can go again soon. And this time we’ll be three… our first child is due in a matter of weeks and I’d so love to introduce her to one of my favourite places on Earth, even if she won’t remember it later!

  • My husband proposed to me inside the castle at dinner, we then spent our honeymoon in disney world and on the disney cruise, we took our son for his first trip when he was 2 months old and we spent his first Halloween in the park and then again when he was 15 months we went at Christmas time and it was more magical then ever! and we are going again in October for halloween again he will be 3!

  • My Honeymoon! It was the best vacation and most romantic vacation yet. I would recommend it to any newlywed. Now, we are waiting another year to bring our daughter and we can’t wait!

  • My engagement to an amazing girl!! I proposed in the rose garden and we stayed at the Grand Floridian. Amazing time…can’t wait to go back!!!

  • My husband and I were married in October of 2008. That Christmas season, we celebrated our honeymoon in WDW. We’re currently expecting our first child and this past February we returned to WDW to celebrate our β€œBabymoon!” Both visits were pure magic. πŸ™‚ We’ll welcome our sweet baby boy in just a few weeks… his nursery is just about ready for him – all done up in Whinnie the Pooh! (what else?). The next time we celebrate in Disney will be for our baby’s first visit. We’re looking forward to seeing the magic through his eyes!!

  • Being Alive! I had a serious stroke in my late 20s with paralysis on one side, things were touch and go for a while. I passed the time in the hospital planning a ‘dream’ trip to Disney World. After several weeks of physical therapy it felt great to make that dream come true by just walking around, enjoying the park like everyone else. Sure, we’ve gone for birthdays and anniversaries, been there for 4th of July and New Year’s Eve, but those normal, everyday steps on a meaningless Tuesday in September are my favorite.

  • One of my favorite times i went to Disneyland was for my 12th birthday. It was in February so there was no one there. I got to go on all of the rides with no lines because of the time of year. Greatest trip ever. Also it was cool. I live in Washington so we are use to cool weather. California in the summer is to hot.

  • This year we will be celebrating our son’s 6th birthday! It’s less then 2 months away, I can’t wait! Though i’m also hoping there is a new “theme” for next year.
